some people seriously don't understand music... just because two songs sound similar does not mean that they have been 'copied'. The majority of pop songs in the charts at the moment are made up of the same basic chords with different lyrics and are interchangeable. Knives and Pens and Unholy Confessions are probably just a coincidence and people need to chill out and listen to the music.

I'm a genuine BVB fan, I like them for the music, I don't give a fuck about the image. I have also loved Avenged Sevenfold way longer than BVB. I also never saw the similarity between the two songs until I saw the comments for this video and I can see how people thought the songs sounded the same however if you know why knives and pens was written (I'd tell you but I don't have enough characters) then you would see how different the songs really are.

Okay so this is an awesome band. They have the sound that BVB used for knives and pens. Get over it. This came out a long time before Knives and Pens did. Everyone's talking shit about BVB, just shut up because I don't hear anyone complaining about Asking Alexandria using this certain sound in the middle of their song Not The American Average. But unfortunately, this band have also released "Seize The Day" (and other shit like this), and this song is the worst shame of True-Metal-Planet.

So go Megadeth, or Overkill, Skeletonwitch, Riot, Motley Crue, Anthrax or 3 inches of Blood if you like your Metal with huge balls.

And it really only sounds similar because of the main riffs. Personally, I like bvb and a7x, but you can't rob a7x of their credit, talent and originality--they are pretty much rock legends after all, so they might be one of bvb's (along with many other groups') musical influences anyway.

Even then, Avenged and BVB have two totally different guitar sounds therefore BVB's sounds like crap in comparison.
