  • Haters gonna hate. I loved their techier stuff after their comeback.

  • KORN: " I soo wish I was these guys!"

  • Key may make the awesome music, but Nivek provides the awesome theatrics and really completes the band

  • I love this band, saw them live in 06 for their Mythmaker tour. One of the highlights of my life.

  • My favourite band since 1985!

  • I'm sorry if i sound like an old fart, but if one of the main members of your band dies: for exiample - Jim Morisson, (the Doors), or Michael whoever from (I.N.X.S.). I think you should just change the name of the band. Oh wait, nobody will recognize you without that other name? Then your music must not be that good anymore.

  • @burgerkingbrian They are playing a Skinny Puppy song...

  • I'm wetttttt - fucking love these live performances.

  • i love this song, great band too i love there performance art

  • the goth answer for rap and techno at the same time! this is bad ass ^,..,^

  • This is good shit. Skinny Puppy is, was, and shall always be one of the best performance acts around.

RIP, Dwayne Goettel. You taught me everything I know about electronic texture. I wish you were here to show me more.

  • The Greater Wrong Of The Right was the first Skuppy album I heard and I just keep going back to it even though I prefer 80s industrial. There's just something about it, damn.

  • @Sesquipedaliantique i think SP in all decades have done an excellent job, i prefer their 90's music (although Mind was another really sick album, on eof the best from any industrial musician!) and think its their best, but they have always been a favorite of mine

  • skinny puppy is probably the best industrial band in history of man kind

  • i have there cd and it has this song and its fukin AWSOME!!

  • I heard of Skinny Puppy from Repo! The Genetic Opera. I am so glad that I found both of them. =)

  • @foreverdawn6 I know. I came here from Repo too and I'm shock I have never heard of this band.

  • He really is wearing a dog gutted dog suit. (looks like German Shepard? and your a fools if you don't believe.

  • @DSCKSR Im honestly highly doubting that since all of Skinny Puppy are huge on Animal Rights and I dont think that they would actually do that.

  • fucking amazing live and in studio. love it love it love it!

  • Skinny Puppy a great band I discovered in Canada in the 80´s, they still rock amazingly happy to have found this tune

  • Everyone discovers things in their own way & in their own time. Older Skinny puppy fans forget that it was once new to them too. Leave room for the next generation to discover things on their own or you just end up sounding like an old fart...it doesn't make you sound cool or any more enlightened. You just sound stupid.

  • nice band

  • if anybody wants to walk the road of darkness one word GODFLESH

  • i wish they would come to ohio

  • i thought that skinny puppy would be a death metal or grind....but HOLYSHIT!!!!! it likes rob zombie!!!!!another words tht sucks!!!!

  • @CinemaAlliance except they are nothing like rob zombie and they dont suck

  • @CinemaAlliance you should def check out their older stuff. the newer stuff is good in its own right, but oldschool skp is the best by far.

  • skinny puppy is my favorite band, but i wish they would make this video on one performance, instead of a collaboration of performances with only one live soundtrack

  • I must say the shows in the 80ties were also not bad,but it looks like that they have now much more money for the live shows.......

  • too bad its taken 20 yrs for people to notice...

  • @itsmejerks

    Yes.

    Good said!

  • this band is alot better live than on record..

  • nice, i saw these guys a few times, as much as i loved other groups live shows like Pink Floyd, Manson, Alice Cooper, David Bowie etc. i think skinny puppy is vastly underrated, especially at their live shows. all i got to say is that if you thought this was awesome live you have no idea, their performances are wacky as hell!

  • FUCK YEAH THIS RULES

  • I've know of Skinny Puppy for years now, and I have one question. Is Skinny Puppy a goth band? I went to one of their 2004 tour concerts and it was goth-dude and goth-dudette central.

  • @Garduus noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo they are known as industrial........and if it wasn't for them music would be nothing like it is now

  • @GraveyardDoll666 I know that Skinny Puppy is Industrial music band. I was just being goofy with my comment. I've read music publication that have classified them as a "goth band" probably because the editors see all the goths that attend Skinny Puppy concerts.

  • @Garduus probably editors don't know any band older thar Korn.

    Press sucks

  • since more than 20 years one of my favorite bands.......to see them live is an experiance for it´s own...

  • Skinny puppy and Leæther strip will play in aarhus Denmark d 29.7.

  • Is this video from a dvd? if so which one?

  • @rulerofthealiens ya i used to have it but dont remember.. i found it for like a buck in some used place

  • @rulerofthealiens yea Greater Wrong of the Right LIVE it is a good buy

  • @ Comments:

    NIN/EBM, Industrial? Great satire. 5/5

Me thinks most of you SP newbies should look into a book, not Wiki.

  • ll 4 cir

  • 2:48 to 3:11 has to be the best part.

  • I like the costume

  • good job,.......Skinny Puppy came loooooong before *shudder*.....nine inch.....whatever that DAMN band is called,HAHAHAHA,

  • WOOT! seeing them tonight at the Marquee in Tempe, AZ! :DD

  • Hes reallly cool. but the manager is kind of an ass.I met him after the show.Hes jynormous, yea hes really nice and next time i wanna meet ogre, wanted to meet him this time.but timing was really horrible between him n cEVIN

  • Demonic!!!

  • are they able to play goneja live ? it sounds impossible but there sp u neva no...ive never been able to c them live..sadly

  • I met cEVIN key :D

  • whats he like in person?

  • Nivek ogre and cEVIN key are industrial GODS...rookies yall better step your game up and do your homework on these undisputed heavyweight champions of industrialism .

  • i'm so there ! w00tx2

  • HOLY CRAP

I just found this band randomly and they are amazing!!!!

    Instant favorites

  • i hope ur telling da truth cuz the first time i listened to sp i was like wat the fuck is dis but it really got in my head...ina good way most industrial music is like dat

  • I somewhat agree with you, the first time I ever heard SP, was like, "Dude, this is lame". The 2nd time around though, I ended up liking them... pretty weird...

  • Comment removed

  • honestly ive been listening to industrial for quite som time and i still hear som songs dat r trying to be to artistic and original, i just hate ppl who force themselves to like dis music to try and look different and orginal

  • Comment removed

  • @TenthBlackRose It warms my soul to say that I was saving my lunch money (I didn't get allowance) to buy my music ie Skinny Puppy "Cleanse Fold and Manipulate" and "Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse" on cassette, etc. LMAO (You know, when Moby Dick was a minnow.) :P When I see all these fans & people arguing over who's a bigger fan or who knows more about Ministry, SP, Nitzer Ebb, etc. I chuckle & smirk 'cuz I always knew I had good taste. v'''''v

  • sum stupid bich who i work with thinks industrial music has something to do with the industrial era and i just laughed in her face

  • hahahahaha

  • what an idiot she is

  • @TheNineinchsnails YOU'RE SO COOL

  • @KevinDolin why thanks kevin wanna say another joke you could get from jimmy neutron..

  • @TheNineinchsnails I have no idea who Jimmy Neutron is. I thought thought your :"laughed in her face" comment was a desperate attempt to seem edgy.

  • @KevinDolin jesus that is the second time this week some1 said i was trying to be edgy after i said the song discpline by tg is good jesus wouldnt u laugh in her face if she said industrial music had something to do with the industrial revolutions time period

  • @TheNineinchsnails its actually related to the industrial era Imaginary...

    you laughed too fast...

  • @zurtur well sorta it originally was but singers kinda changed it. she thought thats when the music started like it was music that people would listen to durring the industrial era

  • @TheNineinchsnails well, if u think it doesn't, than i laugh in yours... XD

  • @juguLAtoR01 it does to a certain extent but considering how much this genre has changed, they are no longer connected

  • @TheNineinchsnails almost the whole world u live in is only possible BECAUSE of the industrial revolution... massified production, consumption and media, and the horrid equalizing of society's psyche are DIRECT consequences of the industrial era. That is a central point of criticism for which industrial music was created in the first place... It shows posibilities of creativity in a world where everything is made equal. So, thinking it has nothing to do with the industry era is wrong.

  • @juguLAtoR01 well for bands like skinny puppy ministry nin i dont think they are very connected. I do not know much about bands like throbbing gristle, cabaret Voltaire, nurse with wound so i cant really put up a good argument to state my point so touche my friend

  • @TheNineinchsnails She's not completely wrong, it started in the post-industrial era, Throbbing Gristle started doing their thing to take peoples mind off the depression of the industrial era. Hence Industrial Records - ergo Industrial music. Sorry, just a fun fact.

  • @TheNyteChyld i ment to say she thought industrial music was from the industrial era idk what i was thinking when i said this.

  • @TheNineinchsnails lol I got ya, its cool

  • @TheNineinchsnails that was a nice thing to do man,but NIN are my favourite band of all time.

  • @TheNineinchsnails I can't think of one industrial band named FDR lol. That's awesome, man.

  • @evolvedb4u I meant to say, she thought Industrial music was durring the Industrial era

  • @TheNineinchsnails In a way it does, Throbbing Gristle, in more words said that all music before them had been 'agricultural' and not music for the post-industrial era, hence coining the term 'industrial' as their record label.

  • @binarysoul Dude idc what youtube says I said this about four years ago. Idk wtf I was thinking.

  • @TheNineinchsnails somebody i work with just asked me if i'm listening to techno.

  • i didnt get into skinny puppy until i heard this song really. Im a big RevCo/Ministry fan and i know the kind of history that Ogre has with Al and Chris but alot of his shit is just too spaced out for me. The Greater Wrong of the Right is a beautiful album though and it brings me back to the older KMFDM electronic style industrial, and that makes me happy :)

  • the first industrial music i heard were from NIN then i found SP loved them so badly. now im a 2 year rivethead industrial/EBM lover. :) but my first listen to SP was testure and i loved it immediately.

  • @TenthBlackRose

    You didn't knew Skinny Puppy?

The greatest industrial band of all time.

  • @TenthBlackRose : Welcome to the discipleship. I was first initiated with "God's Gift (Maggot)" in 1986 (album - "Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse"). They are one of the most creative bands I've ever known (with a lot of "creative tension" over the last two decades). If you appreciate true artistry v. corporate-stamped cookie-cutter music, then you'll definitely enjoy a review of their evolution since the early 80s to today.

  • @TenthBlackRose

You've entered whole new wonderful world, TenthBlack Rose

  • @TenthBlackRose

WOW well congrats. i wouldn't like life without skinny puppy hehehe.

  • He still manages to be sexy with a scary mask on. xD

  • seeing them this november!

  • Same here, 11th in MI.

  • i want one of those masks!!!!!!!

  • i was there !

  • i'm jealous i miss the concert at Montreal lol

    \/

    ..

    _

  • Probably the only SP track since Last Rites that I like at all, not sure why maybe just older or something?

  • This is so much better than the recorded it is amazing they are so amazing best industrial band period

  • just lookin for somethin.. badass!!!!

  • Skinny Puppy is wider tthan your mind

  • Skinny Puppy! . . .

    If this post gets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, or 0 responces in 1 week I lost the game, but if it gets 6 I win the game forever

  • Either way, you lose

  • I did it for the lulz

  • now this is much better. thanks.

  • SP all the fucking hell great way :) ive 37cd's 10dvd's one jacket and a poster HELL YEAH! only the goddamn b&fVone i dont have yet :(

  • Back & Forth vol.1 is a legend, man. It doesn't exist. At least that is what I tell myself to feel better about not having it.

  • 37 cd's? wow give me some lol'

  • Un fucking fathomable how much these guys mad history and influenced so many genres. These guys are what it's all about and then some. What we should know we don't forever in solute to SP tat to prove it love you guys,

  • It is so nice to be able to understand Ogre and be sober, LOL! In the old days you had to be on some serious f-ing shit to understand his lyrics. Go CeVin and Ogre! SP forever!

  • these guys are still fantastic , and bands are still ripping them off to this day!!! i thought the mythmaker album was absolutely killer as well

  • Ogre should not cover up his absolute perfection like that!

  • That´s just awesome!

  • ogre beats a troll anytime

  • can anyone tell me how Ogre makes his voice like this?

  • Shitloads of effects. Over the years there has been Chorus, Distortion, Reverb, Phaser, Pitchshifter, Flanger, Gapper and real time sampling.

    Hope that helps (ish)

  • i guess that helps more then most

    thanks

  • "Useless"? These guys were pro animal rights, anti-facist, and anti-socialist WAY back in 1983. LONG before, all these trendy, Hollywood types, started using it to garner P.R. for themselves. How about you stick to commenting on people and subjects you actually KNOW about, asshole?

  • Well aren't just a lovely little wannabe youtube troll, aslepMS2.

  • Wow. What a shallow mind. If it contained a solitary thought, it would certainly die of lonliness.

Forgive me for having a social consciousness, and for choosing to think of others besides myself.

Go back to the "Ozarks", Bubba. And swap your keyboard, for a double-barrell, break-action.

  • You're the one sulking around youtube videos insulting things when nobody cares about your opinion, not my fault...

  • because their opinions are based off some mild levels of intelligence at least where as yours are based off of absolute ignorance to the point where itd be funny if it werent so sad and infuriating...also theyre not saying things that could be considered hurtful to a general outside group that has nothing to do with this...so in all reality their opinions are much more acceptable than yours...again its all a matter of ignorance...opinions are fine as long as theres some basis of reasonability

  • "reasonability" isnt a word, so im going to "ignore" your "ignorant" comments about my intelligence bcuz they hav no logic. as for "sad" its sad that i leave one negative comment and all these "supporters" flock to reply button just to say something. its sad that ppl like to say negative shit about someone when the point is missed. i dont take back the comment, however i do admit i was shallow. that doesnt warrant anyone to insult me. i didnt insult them, i insulted the musicianship of the band.

  • Are these dudez still into animal rights? Fight for the cause. Meat is murder!

  • i want that costume! :)

  • yea gonna go see ohgr in his hometown of vancouver at the red room!

  • It's electro-industrial or so called EBM - electronic body music.

  • Come back to Vancouver Honey.

  • I saw them after they rebanded for Mythmaker, and they were fucking amazing live. Ogre was dressed up like a bloody catholic priest and sort of birthed himself from between latex screen and flicked fake blood from his fingertips on the crowd. He also wore of the coolest mask helmet things I'd ever seen. It had a beak. And it was metal.

  • for this vid to have less than 50,000 views is an abortion to good music everywhere

  • Your concern may now be absolved. Over 50,000 views.

  • Ogre's showmanship blows me away. So fuckin awesome. THE Industrial front-man. IMO.

  • great song Good to see them continue. like to see ogilvie and reely back with them. they along with Goetell had alot to offer. check out Caterwauls "portent hue" which they engineered. good stuff

  • fuck you

  • naww you just dont uderstand them, thats all. im a metal head and i find some of the music fuckin awesome at clubs

  • I'm pretty sure this is industrial...but i guess that's just me.

or maybe you're just stupid and you find it relieving to show your hate for "goth people" on industrial videos on Youtube.

  • Go rape yourself with a crucifix fleasheater

  • you can go jack off to linkin park vids if you dont like this.

  • asshole.. go to cry with my chemical romance and kill yourself if you don't like this music

    piece of...

  • The way a person acts is the way you're supposed to judge a person. Wtf are you talking about?

And lol @ you're intense internet rage. GTFO the internet, faggot.

  • man i want that mask/hood he's wearing.

  • awesome vid and song!

  • sounds about 100 times more bad ass live than on cd

  • i'd give my third testicle (simple meaning i'd give a third testicle if i HAD said testicle) for his mask.

  • I'd give my right ovary for Ogre...<3

  • well said, there's only two men i'd go gay for, Maynard James Keenan, and Patrick Stewart (probably my favorite actor).

  • OGRE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cevin Key!

    Devil on Drums!

    Master of Sounds!

    He's so unbelievable perfekt!

    "Davor ziehe ich den Hut"!!!!

  • that's my favorite outfit, reminds me of some sort of ancient bird-god arising to wake everyone the fuck up and realize the problems of the world.

  • Sorta reminds me of a plague doctor's outfit too.

Thanks to whoever uploaded this, I'mmortal is the song that got me into Skuppy, and from there, industrial muzak in general.

  • yeh that outfit seems to be just that.

  • I'm in love with Ogre-He's so creative. Has anyone heard WELT? That's bone chillingly industrial with his sexy creepy voice. Love this vid and the DVD.

  • Obviously most of you don't realize this is from the dvd of "The Greater Wrong of The Right" Tour.

  • lol obviously :P

  • Ogre lookz so cool in that mask lol!

  • dude this is my faaaaavourite song ov Puppy! thankz for posting this!!!!!!!!!!

  • yet it's still really, really awesome

  • What is the practical use of a music critic, by the way?
