ok so how do the cues work? does it remember cues so that you can just pull the song up and play the cues immediately? or do you have to set them every time you pull the song up?
i just bought my scs.3 system and i tried using it its not really that good. but in the other hand though its really great for mobile gigs. with this scs.3 you wont worry about knobs or faders breaking inside your bag and if your just spinning tracks its really not that great. but for effects and samplers this is just awsome.
Alright the mixer goes to your laptop from the USB port and you have one line out right? how are you going to monitor the sound on your headphones and on monitor speakers? I really want to buy this unit but need to understand this part first. Thanks
@booxi Since this unit doesn't have an integrated sound card it would be necessary to use an external USB audio interface (such as the audio 8 dj being used here) The Audio 8 is typically used with analog mixers but if you just wanted one output for your master and one monitoring output you should definitely consider the Audio 2 dj by Native Instruments.
having dj'd fro 20 years, switching to serato was dope - this would be good for travelling. could set up and play in a beach bar somewhere or whatever but thats about all i would use it for. but... as far as clubs go if u aint using decks u aint a dj.
nah, nah and nah. Use whatever you like. It doesn't change a thing as long as you're being creative with your music and you enjoy doing it. If anything, decks restrict your creativity. A race driver is still a race driver whether it is Rally or F1 he competes in.
@thefredsociety yeah but not if he's not in a car cd decks can be dope if thats what you're into but just not my thang.
waht i meant is that this could be useful for travelling but not as a way to be a dj . , they aint even got rotating platters of any sort lol - looks more like an ipod accesory.. ;)
i feel sorry for people who miss out on real djing if they go straight to something like this. stick em on decks then and they'd be fucked... might as well play dj hero and think u can scratch..
is there a place where you can plug your headphones in?

@SMDXxSpEcIaLkXx
The SCS3Pak comes with a headphone adapter that goes into the headphone out of your computer and splits the signal.
