What I do is go in randomly to my local drug stores and check out there clearance section, walgreens is always having clearance and BOGO if I cant get it on sale or clearance I just add a few bucks and would rather get high end products

YES! I have found that its the same brushes CVS and target carry. You have probably tried the Studio Tools at Target they start at $1.97 I adore them ! But that Sonia Kashuk set I bought without realizing what it was and was crazy surprised that I had found 'higher quality' brushes at the dang dollar store... and when I went back no one knew what I was talking about claimed to never carry them to begin with!
