Yeah, this game is amazing. Honestly, it might be my favorite source engine game. The combat is so smoothly executed and feels so natural. First person melee combat is rarely done well in video games (see Oblivion, for example). And that's not to mention the beautiful eye candy. Yeah, I think this game might even top HL2:E2 for me.

Source Engine doesn't exist on PS3. Valve found PS3s coding styles too challenging and too much work for them. So Steam is keeping source engine with Xbox360 and PC. No PS3.

This game is completely fucked beyond belief, but it's brilliant.

The melee combat is really disturbing though. Sometimes you hit people and they almost end up half-crying. I'd be willing to bet money on there being at least one enemy in this game who enjoys getting beaten up.

Actually, no. In contrast to the Wii, they've talked about how the Natal will also appeal to the "hardcore gamer" crowd. You should watch some more videos of it, and not just that silly trailer.

Wii was originally going to appeal to the hardcore crowd. 9/10 games in the old Wii 2006 E3 trailers were hardcore games. And the thing is, Natal is incapable of handling many hardcore games. You DO, in fact, need buttons to play games like FPS's.

Pshht, I'm not bragging about my specs. They're not that impressive lol. Regardless, they far exceed that of an XBox, and that was the point I was trying to make.

They don't exceed the specs of an X360.

Hardware wise it does sound like that, but since an X360 has no 'real' OS it does not need insane specs. It also isn't forced to use an x86 or x86-64 instruction set. Also, the graphics card does not need to have as wild specs to render the same quality images smoothly. It's an ATI Xenon as far as I remember, and you can't even get these for a PC.

There's no real way to compare a console like this to a PC.

The Xenon is commonly compared to an 8800GTS. Even though it is a unique card, the 8800 is the card it is most similar to. And it does have an OS. It's a small version of Windows.

Really good game, about halfway through so far. Great combat system and really twisted story. I think my only complaint is the dialogue is somewhat weak sometimes, and the game is a bit linear (and apparently short).

Otherwise definitely worth trying out.

This game might be one of the best games i played in years. The mass game industry makes games that lack the perfection and story that indie games often have. Game mechanics are often copied in mass gaming company's and Indie company's dare to stick their neck out in the open by throwing the game 360* and making something totally new and refreshing. Zeno Clash is a cool game, but to darn short :)
