lol, this movie...I saw it once a year during re-runs in the mid to late eighties..kristy macnichol was my ideal of what dating would be like when i got old enough...I kept waiting to meet someone, anyone, even a little like her character...sadly it was the valley girl decade and it was "cool" to be slow and stupid and breathe through your mouth...wish i grew up in the 70's, the clothes and hair and litterature were stupid and at least half the music, but going by movies, people seemed "realer".

OMG, I LOVED this movie when I was a kid. I must've been 12 or so. Christopher Atkins was THE sexiest thing I'd ever seen. He looked better in this movie than in "Blue Lagoon". I think it was the "sensitivity" of the character.

Can't believe he's 47 now!! How time flies!!

This was out when I was 10 or 11. I LOVED this movie and still do to this day. I bought a copy off Ebay from someone in Canada. Then my teenage sister saw it and really loves it. She likes to borrow it from time to time. I loved Kristy and Christopher in the movie. They had great chemistry and some hot kissing scenes. It was a fun movie with some fun music. And Kristy was SO FREAKING GORGEOUS. I sooooo wanted to be Mabel back then.
