I think the problem here is that Alicia was trying too hard to sing.. instead of just feeling it. Sade's music has a vibe to it...it's less technique and more feel. I love them both.. Alicia is a legitimate musician with a bundle of talent. No need for comparisons.

How can you compare apples and oranges? They are both sweet in different ways. Sade has that deep, rich, smooth voice. Then there's Alicia who has a great, soulful voice and broader range. They might not be able to sing each other's songs that well, but they sing the hell out of their own tunes!
