Sorry I cant tell what that noise is, but what i can say is that i have had a ct235 for over 10 months and have 85 trouble free hours on it. 25% of those hours where moving snow and the rest have been rototilling. I love the tractor, but wonder if I should have went for the 50HP model instead.
@conradsar Thanks for the comment. The dealer said the noise is normal for that model (as others had also suggested at tractorbynet). I struggled for a _long time_ making the decision on which model to get...but as it stands i just can't fit anything much bigger through the woods without creating a bunch of tractor trails. What size tiller are you running?
@jcims It is a 72" tiller, bobcat brand. Works great! We have tree rows that i keep worked up, and a big garden. Most of the time I till full speed in low range, and the ct235 can keep up. I run it a little slower when the conditions are wet, hit real sandy soil, ect. or it bogs down, but 90% of the time it can run that tiller great. Just bought a box blade for it to maintain our road and will be shopping for a snowblower soon. Yeah, the size is good for fitting in the garage.
