  • too bad you are a moron, you can use vista/7 to bridge connections fuck face. clearly ur PC is messed up...god you're stupid

  • Yes!!!!! 2012 ROCKS

  • I don't really know what you mean with "frying your wireless connection" but it's total bullshit.

I move my xbox AND pc regularly, just make sure the system you want to move is switched off.

  • Hey, i tried to do this, but the xbox doesnt seem to get an ip address and so doesnt connect to xbox live. Any idea why?

  • can someone help me since i couldn't connect 2 live for 2 days i thought i would check bridge and it said expired so i thought aww il delete and make a new one but now there is no local connection so i cant bridge the local and internet together ,i have checked and there is nothing wrong with my Ethernet cable im so confused and pissed at how i wont be able now.

  • or u could just select both wireless and Ethernet and share them and dont have to deal with network frying or deleting bridges just cause u want 2 move.

  • In the end you sound like master chief

  • Well, this is 2011 and this doesn't work for A LOT of people so i'm just going to get a wireless adapter.

  • HAH You Have A Life?

  • it wont let me bridge connections

  • HOW TO DO IT WITH WINDOWS 7

  • >you can't unplug your router or you'll fry your connection

    Holy shit you're stupid.

  • 0:57 - Do Do hahahahha

  • >> veesta.

    facepalm.jpg

  • WAAAAAA I DIDNT UNDERSTAND!!!!!! (Bangs head on table) Jk. :P

  • And this is all wireless??

  • when i go to bridge it, the bridge thing dnt show upp... ughh

  • when i get to the network connections it says i only have the Local Area Connection, not a wireless network. But i have a wireless router going to my xbox what do i do?

  • does this work with windows 7

  • i just installed a new ethernet card/port, and it says theres something wrong with it, can you help?

  • does it work for windows 7

  • i dont really think that would fry youre internet connection.

but yeah it can stop and u can just turn it on again.

  • Visa??

  • @ManApple22 he said vista

  • so when i finally have everything bridged and connected my wireless connection suddenly is disconnected thus not allowing me to access the internet at all; during the bridge...i even turned off my firewall to see if it was blocking and the same thing still happened, i hope you or somebody could give me some advice -thanks in advance :]

  • anyone please help when i try to bridge connection it tells me "to create a network bridge you must have at least two lan or high speed internet connections that are not being useddd by internet connection sharing" i am using a wireless internet via a flash drive and have my xbox hooked up to the computer with the eithernet using windows xp????????

  • Mine will not let me click "bridge connections" Why?

  • When i connect them and try to access my XBL it says i have a IP address conflict?

  • omg! its the master chief!!!

  • Can u mod

  • FUCK YOU

  • does it work with ps2/3

  • ture i got school to fucken hate school

  • less talking more workin lol

  • it doesnt fry your card lol

  • YOU NEED A LAPTOP TO HAVE A WIRELESS CONECTION

  • @BUCCSKIN LOL, no you don't.

  • does anyone use windows 7, this doesnt help!!!!

  • i only have 1 Local Area Connection.how do i get the wireless one

  • life i do have one

  • I got it bridged, laptop is getting wirless, so I plug my cable into my laptop to my xbox, and i can't connect to live.

  • better version..... watch?v=5eV7sSpV7Uk&feature=player_embedded put that after youtube dot com/

    youtube dot com / watch?v=5eV7sSpV7Uk&feature=player_embedded

  • thanks bunches

  • omg how the fk? i took out cabel and i deleted bridge and my wifi is working perfectly dose this mean i did something wrong?

  • when i right click on both bridge connections doesnt work someone help

  • This method will cause lag and dropouts. Bridging over a wired connection is flakey, doing it over wireless and a bridge is going to cause you to have lots of issues.

    1) You will not be able to get "Open" NAT status, best you can hope for is moderate.

    2) You will get booted from Live every so often due to the fact that wireless does not support ARP request from multiple IPs coming from a single MAC.

    3) You will get lag spikes based on PC load. (Also if over wireless, lag from signal loss..

  • @RasterGraph then what's your solution?

  • @gondryboy

There is no "good" way to share for live, they all have their drawbacks. The preferable way apart from the M$ wifi dongle is using a wireless router and bridging this using wrt-dd firmware. This doesn't solve the ARP problem so you can only use the xbox with nothing else on the router.

Next best way is via ICS (internet connection sharing). With ICS the problem is that it is affected by your PC as windows must handle the routing. You must setup port forwarding in XP as well.

  • @RasterGraph I think its just your router that sucks.

  • @AyminnrDj

LMAO, Ok 15 year old, tell me what brand of router would you suggest... Oh hang on I was using custom DD-WRT firmware and am an IT Professional. So I think your comment is just bullshit, amrite?

    1) ARP does not support requests from multiple IPs coming from one MAC. FACT

    2) Wireless is susceptible to background radio interference. FACT

    3) Wireless will have FAR more packet lose than wired and far less bandwidth. FACT

    = no GOOD way

Wish to argue against any of these? Be my guest!

  • @RasterGraph then its my internet :P

  • @AyminnrDj

Well that’s a matter of some conjecture.

You will probably outlive me but, so you have plenty of time I would think.

  • WIN

  • @RasterGraph i get perfect connection doing this.....

  • @khaos149

I find that statement highly dubious. Many because I know how wireless technology and networking in general works and as point 2 of my original post states, ARP requests from multiple IPs yet only being associated with a single MAC is not supported under the 802.11 standard. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you have not noticed the dropouts and disconnects or have equated them to something else.

  • @RasterGraph not to correct you or anything, i have to admit, i dont know all these fancy words and what they mean. i followed a different video and i have a great connection, rarely have any flukes

  • @khaos149

Hey if you are happy with it and it doesnt cause you too much grief then that's great. I was simply pointing out the limitations of wirless bridging and XBL.

  • @RasterGraph "you" nah fuck tht "you" wont have shit wrong just everybody else

  • @thadinininon

English mother-fucker, do you speak it?

If I have deciphered your ramblings correctly you are another person claim this method works without issue, yet still the 802.11 standard does not support ARP requests from multiple IPs coming from a single MAC. So again.... gee how many times do I have to state the same thing here. (shakes head) this will be my last response on this issue. If you don't get it by now you are either retarded or a troll.

  • @RasterGraph rofl if u think im reading all these long ass stories ur sending me ur retarded

  • @thadinininon Im with RasterGraph. Your a retarded troll with no life who's too lazy to read long, yet helpful comments. And if you even try replying to me, me and RasterGraph will get you back, so go comment on Justin Bieber songs, you bitch.

  • @MrSahil350 ok go suck rastergrapgs dick some more

  • @thadinininon Alright, I warned you! FUCK YOUR FUCKING RETARDED FAMILY AND YOUR FUCKING SIBLINGS. GO SUCK YOUR MOMS PUSSY AND YOUR DADS DICK, YOU BISEXUAL PIECE OF SHIT. GO AHEAD CRY ALL YOU WANT AND TELL YOUR 2 YEAR OLD PARENTS, YOU BITCH!

  • @MrSahil350 yh... like im reading tht long paragraph of u raging.. u jelly bro?

  • @thadinininon Wow. Have you ever read a book? Oh wait! You can't cause your retarded! Lemme make this short and not that sweet. FUCK OFF. Don't tell me you can't read this, too!

  • @MrSahil350 ive read a book before because it actually has a point to it not just sum old ass man hyperventilating over a keyboard

  • @thadinininon

Are you still trying to retard troll this topic?

I remember when trolling was an art. Now it is just a bunch of derp derp comments. So sad.

  • @RasterGraph wtf english?

  • @RasterGraph well, i got the open lobby but the lag was worse

  • @wollesto

Probably caused by the computer you are bridging from. As you add more rules to the bridge, this causes increase load on the PC hosting the connection. You could try closing any unused programs as well as setting windows system properties -> performance and setting windows to "Adjust for Best performance". This may help with reducing some lag. However you are still going to drop packets so you can't eliminate it completely.

  • you dont need two connection ports. here is how to do it: connect the xbox to the pc via ethernet . 2 take the wireless and local connections and bridge them. Your computer can be using wireless!!!!!

  • might let you kno? lol

  • mine only has 1 connection it doesnt comeup with a lan 1???? what do i do

  • its doesn't fry anything

  • If you cant open up the control panel you should NOT be doing this LOLZ

  • so.. what does this do?

  • @MasonLeeSon Unshare your lan or wireless, right click properties, advanced, uncheck"allow others to connect through this computer"

  • Comment removed

  • i dont understand. every time i hit bridge connection this sucker says an error message and dont do anything
