He has eyes, they just don't work. He was born with congenital glaucoma and at the age of 12 a hit to the head with a soccer ball caused a hemmorage that detatched his retinas.
Mothers want their children to be tall, handsome, bright and talented. Andrea is all of these, but for a minor inconvenience which has contributed to his amazing voice and character. I'm reading his book. I listen to him every day and continue to be smitten!
Andrea is the voice! Also check out Miles Davis's rendention; Sketches of Spain. It is an entire concerto based on this musical theme. Thanks for sharing.
