Oh these poor things. Left to deal with the weather and rough enviorment. Unfortuantly some are so far gone there dead. it just sucks when i see this. wish they were saved. :(

can't remember the last time I heard Paul Williams! shocked to see some of the 56 Meteor grille intact. customizers in the U.S. in the 50s used to love those. my fathers first company car when he began work at the Quaker Oats food company in Man. was a salmon pink 58 Chev Del Ray sedan similar to the blue one in your vid.

there is a day when time is the friend of the youthful and new..but through misfortunes etc it eventually becomes a dangerous enemy.

these cars a great example of that. once new but now... some of those can still have a new start and be restored.

You like the old '58, I know where a matching numbers four door '58 Chevy BelAir is, it has the 348 engine, its been setting in the same spot since the late 60s, I'll give you the short story, the original owner parked it because the Trans was gping out and he was going to fix it, well he never did get too so its set ever since, I talked to the guys Grandson then I was able to talk to the original owners son and they will not sell it, it'd take a lot to fix it now. its in bad shape.

That reminds me of the place that I grew up tearing around in while my uncle worked... I loved that place, a crying shame that the city made the guy that owned it shut it down... All gone now... End of an era.
