  • Thanks for posting this sweet video and giving us advice! I don't have a TT. I have amp and speakers already, they play CD. What do I need to get to connect with a TT? Do I need a new analog amp and some cables?

  • I have the same album =)

  • I got one for 5 dollars at a garage sale and it has no credits. What does that mean? Its in good condition.

  • @ToastedOmond The very first pressings of this album were rush released before Capitol acquired the publishing rights from ASCAP and BMI. Very few were pressed with these labels, so that makes them incredibly rare. The stereo pressings are worth twice as much as the mono.

Now, when you say good condition, are you talking about Goldmine/record collector good? That makes a big difference.

  • @buddybopper Yeah, not the best but good condition

  • I picked up this album at an aution. whats it worth?

  • @huskerbird1 Does it have credits on the label or back cover? Is it mono or stereo? What condition is it in?

  • @buddybopper Its in good condition, and its mono.

  • @huskerbird1 Good condition in the record world means: Absolutely trashed. Can you send me some pics? If you're willing I'll send you my email address.

  • nice man im gonna start record collecting should i get an ion turntable with a usb port or a more vintage one

  • @TaBdotcom12 Part 1. It's totally up to you. A USB turn table is great for convenience, but they are generally more expensive. You can get a great audiophile quality TT for around $300. It may seem a little spendy, but really it's not. You can still record your records into your computer using the RCA outs on your TT, and connecting them to a stereo 1/8th inch adaptor and then plug that into your sound card. The software is free on the internet. It's called Audacity.

  • The turntable I'm getting is an ion and is only $60, and I already started with Please Please Me, Tommy, and some Frank Sinatra records

  • @TaBdotcom12 part 2.. Have you ever listened to a record properly? It's a very expensive hobby, but it's well worth it if you truly love music. The sound is unbelievable! Just about all new released albums are coming out on vinyl as well as cd, or digital DL. And a lot of records come with either a cd copy and/or a digital DL coupon. You get all the great album art work as well as something for your iPod. It's a really good time!

  • @TaBdotcom12 Sweet! If you're in to collecting Beatles records, starting with the US releases is a great way to go. THen try to get in to collecting the UK versions of the albums. You said you have Please Please me, So you must be on your way. Welcome to the club! Feel entitled to feel cooler than everyone else haha!
