just bought this game and it's downloading on my ps3 now. i really really really really wish it had a platinum; this isn't a short psn game, like inFamous: festival of blood, it's a full length game. i wonder why that happened.
P.S. i used to get everything in my ps2 games and would have nothing to show for it so i like trophies. it looks lazy when someone has a million games and only gets the trophies that unlock with gameplay A.K.A you don't have to try for.
Why do people even care about the Trophies/Achievements? There's no point to them. Yes it's nice to see how far you've come from beginner to master, but who cares about getting recognition from a game developer, when you get that feeling when you beat a game and go, "YES!!!" and throw your hands in the air.

Though, PS3 does have a better looking port than XBOX (I love XBOX more), and I am getting the PS3 version for its crisper, prettier visual power. Who cares for achievements? Its a fucking awesome game! 9.3/10 and Editor's Choice on Gamespot. More than great scores, this game has FANS, that's what makes it special. PS2/CG didn't need achievements to make this an amazing game.
@andvas1994 Platinum trophies and achievements are good because you get the game which is great but then you see you have say 30/50 Achievements it gives you something to work for y'know instead of the game ending instantly :)

Not bothered by this. It wasn't an issue when I got RE4 for my PS2. It's not an issue now for my PS3. The game is just too good. I would have still bought it even if there was no trophies at all.

4/4 To be honest i love xbox&360 they have allways been my my fav consols,I admit i loved the ps2 it has a ton of games and your disks could look like a car ran over it and would still somehow play fine in ur ps2. I admit ps2 has better graphics blue ray is better but HD is fine so is standerd and if your areal gammer your enphases isnt on graphics its on gameplay, Ofc im not going to buy a game for 60 bucks with stick figure graphics. 3/4 Of course it sucks that you do have to pay for online but microsoft has to make somesort of profit, Alot of people say they do off consols well no they dont there hardware is alot more exspensive then the price pute on it. $300+ Dollers you should exspect that youl be paying 20 bucks or more for any good type of accesory or add-ons or cards/MS points or psn cards. If your buying a consol youd think thatd be pretty out there that and the fact that 1 year is 60 bucks is the value of a brand new game. And you say thats too exspensive? Trophies and achievments are crap i play for fun basically i have a life i fire up my ps3 whenever i feel like chatting with my friends playing some naruto with them ( that game is my guilty pleasure lol ) imhave work i study so plaing for a trophy is prett much stupid in my opinion i have p,atinumed 1 game by mistake lol and i have over 80 games in my library 70 percent with trophies and im an re fan and i broke 3 ps2 s so i havnt played this game in ages so im lookin forward to play it again

RE 4 HD is not HD at all they are the gamecube graphics recycled, no new modes, it is the same game it was 7 years ago CAPCOM did not edit anything just copy pasted it and if you think CAPCOM is not greedy than why do you think they release a Super version of every single on of their games around 8 months after the original's release.

Who cares for achievements? Its a fucking awesome game! 9.3/10 and Editor's Choice on Gamespot. More than great scores, this game has FANS, that's what makes it special. PS2/CG didn't need achievements to make this an amazing game.

Trophies are not important... they are just a pop up that comes randomly.

So I don't care about Trophyes. i Playd GTA4 for over 3 mothsi have only 15% of the Trophies.
i completed the story many times! and i did loads of free roam. i still go back to it some times.
MGS1 i can't even count, MGS2 i believe 3 times on the memory card i have nowand MGS3 about 3 times to.
MGS4 arounf 4-5 times i believe. These games don't even have trophys.

The they should dead ass fucken care about is why the fuck didn't it get released on disc, Japan has a disc version but we don't get a Disc version, that's what should really matter, you know it takes 3,333mbs(PS3 Version) just for RE4 why not just have the disc which will save more space for users on PS3 or Xbox 360 that's what should really matter
