You can find cake flour in the baking aisle at your regular grocery store. I've only seen it in a box - about as tall as a box of cake mix, but deeper (it you put two cake mix boxes together - that's what I mean). Swans Down is a common brand. The box is red and there is a picture of a piece of cake on the front.

Cake flour is widely available at grocery stores. It usually is sold in boxes. Check the baking aisle of your local grocery store. Make sure it is CAKE flour; not pastry flour, bread flour, nor self raising flour. A good brand of cake flour is Swan's Down.

I grew up with black & whites and I was never crazy about them because they *look* like they've got chocolate on them, but you bite into them and are disappointed by the poured fondant, which just tastes like sugar. Duff puts gnoche on it and suddenly there's a black & white cookie I'd really like to eat! Duff rocks!
