The graphics were improved over TS1, as any sequel should try to do. Even Gears of War did it and I didn't think it could look any better.

I, among many other people who played TS2 had no problems aiming whatsoever, and I played TSFP later and it didn't feel any different.

Okay, the graphics were better to a point. That still makes them better. I would much rather have most games' graphics cut down a bit if some decent gameplay was there instead.

A game being short =/= A game being hard. Halo 3 was shorter, okay, I can work with it, especially if it's as entertaining and as epic as it was. Turok is a HELL of a lot harder than Halo 3, even on its easiest difficulty setting and it's quite a bit longer than Halo 3 is.

Difficulty factor is also a good way to _prevent_ people from playing most games. God Hand, God of War, even RE5 especially on their hardest difficulty settings are good examples of this. If you can get it just right, or have it selectable but without a margin from laughable to impossible, you can milk quite a few playthroughs out of one game.
