love gloria when she sings in Spanish and English. but her french is horrible. both in her "DOn't let this moment end" french version and on the Wepa intro..girl needs to find another language to sing on,

Gloria doesn't do this gem of a tune any justice; She should have left well enough alone. Why would she ever attempt to remake this all time favorite of mine. Gloria should save her voice for Dr. Beat, but not Dr. Buzzard's Cory Daye in her prime.

What was Gloria Estefan trying to accomplish here; what was she thinking? This is terrible. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Gloria Estefan fan, but certain songs should be left alone. Not every song needs to be covered, just like not every movie doesn't need to be re-done. When she did "Turn the Beat Around", now that was GREAT, but this is flat, and tinny, and is missing the "punch" of the original.

I first heard this version back in January 2010 and then Dr Buzzard's Original Savannah Band also back in January 2010, and I have to say I like both versions. I am a Gloria Estefan fan so I definitely like her version too! :o)

Sounds like the soul was taken out of the music. Gloria should not have touched this song. She has a great voice but the band took the soul out of this music. Just play it like they did in the 70's and have Gloria sing the way she does with out any techno tweaks and it would be great.
