  • is it me or oscar looks like tom felton

  • 1:11 = The REAL hero of this movie

  • <3 Gary Shail <3 ^_^

  • that's Gary Numan, right?

  • is this song about being... GAY??

  • not quite buddy, it's about societal oppression

  • That what the lircs seem to surgest.

  • Actually, it's Rocky Horror's song when he was to be climbing out of the castles crater in the never made sequal "Return of the Old Queen". They made Shock Treatment instead.

  • Hmm yeah that really makes sense now.

  • Comment removed

  • so you know, this isn't considered a sequal by Richard O'brien. its an "equal" lol

  • thnx for posting

  • this is on the soundtrack for the movie shock treatment. its a 'sequel' to the rocky horror picture show

  • This song is incredible <3<3<3<3

  • What are those cheerleaders doing at 1:30???

  • i think it's supposed to be a "negiatie" gesture. like shaking your head "no". listen to the lyrics at that point, it all comes together.

  • The backup singers' lack of enthusiasm makes me laugh. XD

  • makes it so much better

  • I'd love to cover this song.

  • Can't find this on Limewire :(

  • i been looking forever

  • Anyone kind soul got the chords for this? =)

  • The groupie is my favorite part of the number.

  • BEST SONG EVER. THANK YOU

  • :] how cute.

  • Best song in Shock Treatment!

  • Note Oscar's resemblece to Rocky of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I don't know if this is why he was cast. I do that this song was originally written for the proposed RHPS sequel and was to be sung by Rocky at the beginning. The script was eventually resvised and became "Shock Treatment". So the sequel became an equal and the rest is movie history.

  • I love this song, btw.

  • the singer sounds like he's doing a bad Billy Idol impression.

  • maybe the opposite was true. This movie came out a couple of years before Billy Idol started having hits.

  • Yes, but Billy Idol had minor success with Generation X, and this is version he seems to be immitating; Billy before he went solo.

  • Ah! Good point. Yeah, Generation X were great.

  • If you look up Paul McCartney Ballroom Dancing - the video from the film Give My Regards to Broadstreet - you'll see Gary (Oscar) looking a lot more like Billy Idol.

  • It's Gary Shail - and I seem to remember that he could actually sing better than this.

  • Oscar is soooo HOT :-)

  • Haha, agreed!

  • @saceismyname in person as well as on screen :)

  • this is my first time watching Shock treatment, but is it me or does that singer look lik "yes, this audience will be mine whahahahaha!" just sayin

  • There's nothing punk about the guitarists!

    What happened to Oscar?

  • I love the trashy audience member they show at about 2:00. LoL

  • absolutely!

  • I think they say in the script that that's supposed to be Oscar's mother. At least that's what I heard in the DVD commentary.

  • As for it being a "sequel," it was promoted as "not a prequel nor a sequel, but an equal!" I tend to think of it as an alternate reality depicting what might have happened if the Transylvanians didn't invade Earth.

  • i wonder what happened with all the sets after

  • Frankie was played by Sinitta! Daughter of actress and disco diva Miquel Brown. And she's the niece of disco queen Aimee Stewart (knock on wood).

  • The original idea for the movie was a direct sequal called Rocky Horror shows it's heels. This was originally the song Rocky Horror was to sing after climing out of the rubble left when the castle blasted off (in RHPS) in the begging of the film.

  • the lyrics to this song does sound like something Rocky Horror would sing at the end of RHPS

    Thanks for the information!

  • I really like this song.

  • Why?! Rocky fans love this movie now... (This movie kicks RHPS's ass in so many ways, in my opinion.)

  • I think it was a film decades ahead of its time! Reality TV, celebrities home lives portrayed in front of TV cameras, people living in a manufactured environment, faceless nobodys becoming repackaged superstars and a glamorized "healthcare" campaign! Situations completely unexpected in 1981 that are cliches in 2008! Richard O'Brien was a visionary who had to wait 25 years to find an audience for this picture! I enjoy it much more now than I did when it was first released on VHS!

  • @tomyaz Then why did you go see it?

  • hes so hot.

  • but nows he is fugly, hairy and old

  • no, actually he looks pretty much like he did. he's effin awesome, and i think this movie doesn't have the respect that it deserves.

  • google it..

OH AND I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND RESPECT IT

  • Who looks pretty much like he did?

  • LOLZ

  • 'Breaking out'.

    xD

  • Super song!!!

Oscar's grin at the end just m-m-melts me!!!!

    Love live Richard O'Brien!!!!

  • if u put this on here put the rest on pllllllllllllllllllllz

  • Maybe because they live in the studio?

  • y is everyone sitting down so still :S?

  • you mean the ones in the doctors outtfits? have you seen the movie (you should it's great) they're supposed to besides most of them are all so fake at this point Farley can do that to people...
