@KDT008 Yes but this game was far cry instincts for xbox and hadan expansion pack called evolution, But it got released for 360 as far cry instincts predator with evolution built into the disc, so go out and buy that not sure how much it is in america but i got it for 6 british pounds its the exact same game but with slightly upgraded graphics a few extra maps and levels and the evolution map pack built in

i created probably over 300 maps in far cry 2, most of them are not multiplayer compatible due to items being in certain places, and i couldnt move them withouf ruining the map layout, but me and my friend would take turns creating maps and seeing who could make the best maps and stuff, it was good times untill he moved, now i have over 60 new maps for him lol, but cans wait for Far Cry 3's map editor, it looks like it will have better items, FC2 was all african stuff, kinda boring :) CANT WAIT!

I seriously miss this game so much =/ like this was my favorite game....fuck halo fuck COD, this is wat i played, farcry 2 was horrid compared to this, but it still killed the game. I hated the fact that you couldnt place down weapons in FC2, no predator, and they made the editor even more confusing, i like this editor =/ *sigh* Well i guess i could always pop it in and make a level and explore it myself =') so many good memories playin it =)

Far Cry 2 was a great game, but what was missing from the multiplayer that made Far Cry Instincts amazing was predator mode and that was fun playing as a roided zombie. I hope in Far Cry 3, they will reintroduce predator mode for the multiplayer at least, feral abilities can stay away from the single-player. Just my 2 cents.

@KoN1777 honestly, the only thing i ever played in FC was predator, so the fact that they took it out because "it wasnt realistic enough" was fuckin retarded imo. I played that game for that exact reason, and if i could, id still play it, but literally theres maybe like 10 people that still play it =/

@fatsoh1234567 I love the map editor for fcIp but fc2's map editor is much more advanced, in terms of terrain shaping. However, the appeal that farcry ip has is that you can place weapons. This ability for the designer to place weapons is ABSOLUTELY crucial to making a map editor worth having. so with that said, I like the FCIP editor much better because of the lone fact that you can place weapons. Ubisoft, give us level designers our tools back!

There are 2 problems in Far cry 2 map editor: 1. You cant put AI bots in there 2. water is brown

@ferretlord2177 Yes, but the mapmaker is a lot more like other PC game editors. Like if your familiar with Quake 3's editor or the Source Engine's. Far Cry Instincts mapmaker is a LOT easier to use, but you can't do as much with it. (Like in the PC version you can make indoor maps)

Cooler vehicles, more objects to add, more military objects.

And setting where you think weapons should be give the map much more fun, you can put a rocket launcher in a secret spot for some one to find. But no, every game needs to have ranking and classes now.

Plus the whole African theme, very boring after a while. Dont get me wrong, I love far cry 2, but this game was simply better

Far cry 3 should have a co-op mode in a openworld singleplayer. Besides animals, I hope it also gets innocent people in africa, so the map would be more fun to explore than in Far cry 2 lol.

Hey guys, guess when this game was released? Yea, in fucking 2000, and Far cry 2 was released in 2008. Its eight fucking years old, so no shit it looks like crap.

But back then in 2000, I had boners every time I looked at the stunning graphics in the game, the awesome map editor kicked ass and multiplayer was actually FUN.

This is more and less advanced than Halo 3 forge mode. Forge is a more detailed customized area. Allowing you to create your own buildings. While Far Cry has preset objects just letting you place them where you'd like. I like both but I will probably like Far Cry 2's editor better.
