  • People need a lawyer to tell them what MOLD is?

  • @2bornot2b1984 Lets talk about this in a different fashion Let us assume it was your basement only one room was damaged/ used, but you lost your power (hydro) occupancy permit and ESA environmental is now required.

You need to satisfy the Latent and Patent defect issue; You need to be able to see that everything has been remedied. in plain english?

Particulate Matter air testing ESA, Hydro recertification, Home Inspection, Payment of all fines and Penalties, Legal fees.

  • @dpylyp

I guess it depends on your target audience. Personally, the specifics you just listed would get my attention a lot more quickly than a description of what mold is. I have known what mold is since I was 5 years old, I have to assume most people have as well.

Perhaps it would be beneficial if you split the difference somewhere between the response you just gave and the lowest common denominator your presented for in your video.

    Just a thought.

  • I guess it depends on your choice, my choice would be: I would never buy a grow up house because it not only affects your health and family, it will also affect your the value of your lifetime biggest investment. Why take such a big risk when you know that buying any other house is a good investment as the value of the property and real state will increase

  • @zldai

My only caution against this view is that you might want to guard against the hysteria and fear that is being created for political purposes by your government ( and mine, I am from the U.S. ) about the impending doom that lies ahead if you are in any way indirectly involved with marijuana.

People can live in used grow houses just fine. You might want to question why the DEA is coming into your country and imposing legislation and cultural values over your own sovereignty.

  • @2bornot2b1984 Well that's a good point, but my point was that I wouldnt buy one of those houses because althought the prices might be attractive, you are taking a big risk and I am saying this as a middle class person. Thanks for your response

  • They are a problem to finance and get occupancy permits for. Lenders are very strict.

  • Why would people want to buy a grow house? Is it really that good a deal?

There must be other property available in Mississauga for Sale

  • @bettybartusevicius There are many other homes for sale that are a better value; A home with a Marijuana grow op stigma must be declared FOREVER, sells for about 15 - 20 % less than market, Once your hydro meter is removed your property cannot obtain an occupancy permit, a house that is not habitable is not suitable for conventional financing, you can only borrow 50% of the LAND value.

So unless you have a suitcase full of cash...
