I remember when I was little, there was a video of where the wild things are at my grandma's library, and everytime she went to pick up her money from her bank (this was like 1st grade, and every other day we had off- my grandpa died and she was living with us), we would go to the library and I would pick up the VCR (of where the wild things are) and Carole King would be singing this and some other music videos (alligators all around and stuff).

Interesting Maurice Sendak had done this. I recognized some of the art (kinda), but hadn't actually heard of this story before. Know where the wild things are of course!

The song is actually from the 1970's from a kids TV show. :D I remember seeing it in reruns in the early 80's.
