Ken Miller claims to believe in God and knows that macro evolution cannot be proven but micro evolution deals with changes and adaptations within a species...this is common knowledge, so as usual Ken, I don't know what you are talking about. God enhances everything in my life...just as the lack of him enhances the atheists life, I suppose.

One irreducibly complex protein machine that has especially captured the imagination of the biological community is the bacterial flagellum. In public lectures Harvard biologist Howard Berg calls the bacterial flagellum the most efficient machine in the universe.
But any reasonably complicated machine always includes subsystems that perform functions distinct from the original machine. So the mere occurrence or identification of subsystems that could perform some function on their own is no evidence for an indirect Darwinian pathway leading to the system.
How does the argument from irreducible complexity handle indirect Darwinian pathways? Here the point at issue is no longer logical but empirical. The fact is that for irreducibly complex biochemical systems, no indirect Darwinian pathways are known. At best biologists have been able to isolate subsystems of such systems that perform other functions.

If the mousetrap is designed to function as a mousetrap and you remove a part it should still function as a mousetrap if you are going to say removing parts of the flagellum will still cause the flagellum to function as it is supposed to function. If you remove parts it may not function as well as with ALL the working parts as Michael Behe is convinced but it would still function. Dr. Miller is supposed to be an expert but his example failed on this.
Why would it? Now a mousetrap is a bad example, but let's try to work with it anyhow.
If you removed the snap bar thingy that breaks the mouse's neck, what else could it be used for? A poor straightedge maybe? The long catch hook might become bent to carry light loads or serve as a crude fishhook. Maybe a (not so) creative person could use it as a rattle.
The loss of a part doesn't necessarily render an object useless, just useless for the job it once did.

When I wrote to him...he has no alternative nor an answer and that is the point. If you are going to use that example to debunk Mickael Behe then you would take the mousetrap for example...take a piece away and it would still function as a mousetrap...maybe not as well but it would function...he did not do this...he turned a mousetrap into a tie clip. No Corelation whatsoever.
Well it matters because this is the expertise of Michael Behe and he says ALL parts are necessary for it to function properly and removing a part does not make it function as it is designed to function just as creating a tie clip does not function as a mouse trap. So again how would a tie clip function as a mousetrap...this is the design...this is the function. Ken Miller does not correlate this and neither do you.
This is assuming that it was designed in the first place, which I believe to be the central flaw in your logic. Because a thing has a function now does not mean that it'll retain that function forever. Look at the vestigal olfactory cells in the human sinuses. They aren't connected to anything at all.
Also, comparing a tie clip/mousetrap to a living organism is a bad analogy. Mousetraps do not metabolize anything so far as I am aware. They're not even close.
Yes, I have heard enough from Dr. Ken Miller and I have already written him about his theories. He tried to debunk Michael Behe on The flagellum owes its status principally to Darwin's Black Box and Irreducible complexity while showing his students that he could remove a part of a mouse trap and create a TIE CLIP. The problem is the parts are put together to function as a mousetrap not a tie clip so removing parts to make something different how does it correlate to the orginal function?
The flagellum does break all the way down into itty bitty working parts as I remember, most of which (if not all) can be found in use in organisms today. (And at all the various "deconstructed" stages as well if memory serves.)
A new use for an old part doesn't have to correlate to the old function. Why should it? Bat wings, for example, are quite obviously heavily modified hands/paws.

Unfortunately, Richard Dawkins is not paid very well being a university professor so his agenda is to use science to promote atheism and to sell books and make money. True Scientists will tell you that Science and Atheism do not go hand in hand acutally just the opposite. Richard Dawkins has been asked many times what if he is wrong so he offers no proof of anything, just his own beliefs and opinions. That is not enough for anyone because I also have my own beliefs and opinions.
What is offensive to educated people are tech school rejects claiming that evolution is an excuse to disrespect the views and beliefs of others. The thought is simple and yet profound ... why is there no recorded history before approximately 4,000 B.C.? The answer is obvious ... there was no history! Think about it! It's amazing to me how people continually place God and the Bible on trial; yet unquestioningly accept the theories of evolution. This just shows their wicked heart of unbelief in the Word of God.
You're kidding, right? We test our theories all the time and try to break 'em. We try hard. We WANT to break our theories so we can get closer to the truth, no matter what that truth is.
If we had something better than Darwin's theory we'd be using it. But the fact is that after 150 years of literally millions of people trying every day to show it wrong, we haven't been able. It explains what the biblical creation stories couldn't.
God does not force us to believe in him, though he could. Instead, he has provided sufficient proof of his existence for us to willingly respond to him. The earth's perfect distance from the sun, the unique chemical properties of water, the human brain, DNA, the number of people who attest to knowing God, the gnawing in our hearts and minds to determine if God is there, the willingness for God to be known through Jesus Christ.
I would disagree. If gods existed, none of them has ever provided sufficient proof that they are real. Whenever you look for one experimentally they disappear further into the cracks.
Take the god Poseidon, the god of the sea, for example. Does he exist? His worshipers believe he does. They feel his presence in their hearts and can see his influence in the storms and tides. If you make him mad, he'll either destroy your village with a tidal wave or sink your ship. Is Poseidon real? *Hint: No.*
I didnt say gods, there is only one God, and Jesus was the only one who came to earth claiming to be God, and he is the only way, and if you find him, you find truth, and he says if you seek HIM full heartidly he will let you find him. Even when Jesus was showing his love to the people in the world, he was still wanting their faith, so even if he was here you would need faith. "ye seek and ye shall find him." Many have found Jesus.
Jesus also said a bunch of other stuff that wasn't true. He said he would return during his disciple's lifetimes and he didn't. He said the people alive at the time would "not taste death" before the world ended, too. Again, this was not true. So why should anyone have to seek him? Is he hiding?
See, scripture repeatedly fails this reality test, which is why I and others like me discount it. Nothing it tells us about the world is true, which is why we are baffled that anyone believes it.
Jesus hasn't said anything to be a lie. He returned to them after he died for 3 days. It wasnt the end times then, theres scriptures that explain and points of his return again. No one knows the day or the hour, hes giving people a chance to be saved and find him, before he returns.
Not so. You might want to check that scripture over again. Matthew 24: 29-34 is rather plain. And it's a plain lie. Everyone who heard him speak that message has been dead almost 2000 years.
Its the plain truth. He told them he wasnt coming in that time..He was speaking of the time he is going to come and thats when the whole world will see him. And he gave them the signs of when it would be near to see him. Its better to read the bible after you found Jesus.
Look at 24:32 and 33 he wasnt talking about the generation that was already there. You're missing the part with the fig tree. hes speaking of the people with the fig tree that happens in their lifetime will not pass away..and the fig tree has already happened in 1948 when Isreal became a nation and the 1948 generation hasnt all passed away yet..There are places where Jesus talks and compares Isreal to the fig tree and its already happened..
I didn't miss the fig tree. That's not what it says. You're "interpreting" stuff, which is bad. The fig tree was an analogy of things to come. When you see leaves growing, you know that summer is almost here.
In the same way, when you see these signs he speaks of, (which never happened), the end of the world is almost here, beginning with line 7,(famine, pestilence, disease, etc.) Again, the clincher here is that all this was supposed to happen within 60 years or so.
The bible says the earth is circle..the bible is referring to north, east, south, west, thats the four pillars..you have to know God to interpret the bible, once you know Jesus, you know his word and that its true. The signs he speaks of hasnt came to pass yet, but our grandmothers generation hasnt all died out yet, because the fig tree happened in their time.

Life arose on Earth because conditions were favorable. Of all the billions of likely planets in the Universe, the odds of no life occurring anywhere seems far less likely than that it would occur somewhere.
And what about signs which indicate the possibility of microbial life on Mars? It's conditions are hardly what you describe as ideal and perfect. Two moons, different rotation, vastly different size and atmosphere, plate tectonics, and distance from the sun.
The Earth is located the right distance from the sun. Consider the temperature swings we encounter, roughly -30 degrees to +120 degrees. If the Earth were any further away from the sun, we would all freeze. Any closer and we would burn up. Even a fractional variance in the Earth's position to the sun would make life on Earth impossible. The Earth remains this perfect distance from the sun while it rotates around the sun at a speed of nearly 67,000 mph.
It is also rotating on its axis, allowing the entire surface of the Earth to be properly warmed and cooled every day. And our moon is the perfect size and distance from the Earth for its gravitational pull. The moon creates important ocean tides and movement so ocean waters do not stagnate, and yet our massive oceans are restrained from spilling over across the continents.4
Even a fractional variance in the Earth's position to the sun would make life on Earth impossible. The Earth remains this perfect distance from the sun.

What does any of this have to do with your previous claims about water's "perfect solubility"?

The fact is that for irreducibly complex biochemical systems, no indirect Darwinian pathways are known. If the mousetrap is designed to function as a mousetrap and you remove a part it should still function as a mousetrap if you are going to say removing parts of the flagellum will still cause the flagellum to function as it is supposed to function. If you remove parts it may not function as well as with ALL the working parts as Michael Behe is convinced but it would still function. Dr. Miller is supposed to be an expert but his example failed on this.

If you removed the snap bar thingy that breaks the mouse's neck, what else could it be used for? A poor straightedge maybe? The long catch hook might become bent to carry light loads or serve as a crude fishhook. Maybe a (not so) creative person could use it as a rattle.
The loss of a part doesn't necessarily render an object useless, just useless for the job it once did.

Well it matters because this is the expertise of Michael Behe and he says ALL parts are necessary for it to function properly and removing a part does not make it function as it is designed to function just as creating a tie clip does not function as a mouse trap. This is assuming that it was designed in the first place, which I believe to be the central flaw in your logic. Because a thing has a function now does not mean that it'll retain that function forever. Look at the vestigal olfactory cells in the human sinuses. They aren't connected to anything at all.
Also, comparing a tie clip/mousetrap to a living organism is a bad analogy. Mousetraps do not metabolize anything so far as I am aware. They're not even close.

Yes, I have heard enough from Dr. Ken Miller and I have already written him about his theories. He tried to debunk Michael Behe on The flagellum owes its status principally to Darwin's Black Box and Irreducible complexity while showing his students that he could remove a part of a mouse trap and create a TIE CLIP. The problem is the parts are put together to function as a mousetrap not a tie clip so removing parts to make something different how does it correlate to the orginal function?

The tie clip was a visual aid. You know that.
The flagellum does break all the way down into itty bitty working parts as I remember, most of which (if not all) can be found in use in organisms today. (And at all the various "deconstructed" stages as well if memory serves.)
A new use for an old part doesn't have to correlate to the old function. Why should it? Bat wings, for example, are quite obviously heavily modified hands/paws.

When an element known as factor 12 is knocked out, blood doesn't clot in humans. However it does in whales and dolphins. (Their blood doesn't have this)
Maybe that's not good enough. Okay. Puffer fish are missing 3 such components and their blood still clots. In fact, Doolittle has worked out how all these components could've evolved and still remain functional. Irreducible complexity isn't.

Unfortunately, Richard Dawkins is not paid very well being a university professor so his agenda is to use science to promote atheism and to sell books and make money. True Scientists will tell you that Science and Atheism do not go hand in hand acutally just the opposite. Richard Dawkins has been asked many times what if he is wrong so he offers no proof of anything, just his own beliefs and opinions. That is not enough for anyone because I also have my own beliefs and opinions.

What is offensive to educated people are tech school rejects claiming that evolution is an excuse to disrespect the views and beliefs of others. Higher education encourages free thinking along with allowing the views and beliefs of others to be expressed as in the arena of freedom of speech. It does not, however give anyone the right to demean or downgrade anothers belief. My boyfriend has had much science and knows many scientists, they do not use evolution in the way you do.

Regarding Dawkins, I am not aware of his financial status. Does he have an agenda promoting atheism and selling books? Probably. However I don't see anything wrong with Dawkins expressing his ideas for the same reason I don't see anything wrong with you expressing yours, and my expression of my own . . . that you're poorly informed on evolutionary biology and that it's not your area of expertese.
But let's turn this "what if you're wrong" thing around.

I don't owe you anything or even a response, so if you don't like my ideas or my point of view then my suggestion would be to stay off my channel. The Federal program I speak of if the Federal Program called Head Start that I mentioned already so if the education system is failing then blame the government because statistics prove that home schooled and private christians schools produce the highest achievers in all subjects at college level. You assume that a god created all these languages around 6000 years ago. In that time, I doubt 700 distinct linguistic variations could arise, much less 7000.
However over a period of 100,000 years, this is plausible. It's because languages diverge in isolation. They change. Fossil records support this timescale.

Pressures are not causing new languages to arise. Globalization has, in fact, caused the thinning of languages we see today. We are not living in small tribes at war with the band of enemy people who live in the black hills near the sun anymore.

There are currently only three known speakers of Magati Ke in the Northern Territory and three Yawuru speakers. The team found one elderly speaker of Amurdag which had previously been declared extinct and he could barely recall the language spoken by his father.

You're missing the part with the fig tree. hes speaking of the people with the fig tree that happens in their lifetime will not pass away..and the fig tree has already happened in 1948 when Isreal became a nation and the 1948 generation hasnt all passed away yet..There are places where Jesus talks and compares Isreal to the fig tree and its already happened..

In the same way, when you see these signs he speaks of, (which never happened), the end of the world is almost here, beginning with line 7,(famine, pestilence, disease, etc.) Again, the clincher here is that all this was supposed to happen within 60 years or so.

Life arose on Earth because conditions were favorable. Of all the billions of likely planets in the Universe, the odds of no life occurring anywhere seems far less likely than that it would occur somewhere.
And what about signs which indicate the possibility of microbial life on Mars? It's conditions are hardly what you describe as ideal and perfect. Two moons, different rotation, vastly different size and atmosphere, plate tectonics, and distance from the sun.

The Earth is located the right distance from the sun. Consider the temperature swings we encounter, roughly -30 degrees to +120 degrees. If the Earth were any further away from the sun, we would all freeze. Any closer and we would burn up. Even a fractional variance in the Earth's position to the sun would make life on Earth impossible. The Earth remains this perfect distance from the sun while it rotates around the sun at a speed of nearly 67,000 mph.

Wrong. The Earth has an elliptical orbit around the sun, and its distance varies throughout the year, as does its rotational period.

Ninety-seven percent of the Earth's water is in the oceans. But on our Earth, there is a system designed which removes salt from the water and then distributes that water throughout the globe. Evaporation takes the ocean waters, leaving the salt, and forms clouds which are easily moved by the wind to disperse water over the land, for vegetation, animals and people. It is a system of purification and supply that sustains life on this planet, a system of recycled and reused water.

And stop saying "designed." It's a bad argument and I'll show you why. Tornadoes, floods, tsunamis and hurricanes would necessarily be a part of this design wouldn't they? These supposedly designed things indiscriminately kill people by the hundreds. So from this we can reasonably conclude the designer is either inept, evil, or apathetic. No matter which one, he is not worthy of praise or worship.

By the way, if anyone is forced to believe in natural selection, it is because of the supporting evidence for it, not because of some imaginary blacklist.

I think you've not been honest with me. Your behavior does not fit with that expected of someone doing work in the sciences, nor does your claim that something is "just a theory" ring true for someone claiming the credentials you do.
