This isnt really a cover band. Three of the members are the Decendants of the punk sensation group Death. The will release a album shortly infact.

Also read about Rough Francis and Death in the NYT article. Very very cool.  Really amazing music. I was 23 when Death recorded their stuff and I would have liked it then if I'd heard it.

And I love the fact that the sons (and friends) are playing songs from their father.

This is amazing! I just read the NY Times article and its amazing that Death didn't blow up in the early 70's since George Clinton and Iggy Pop AND MC5 all were friends and Death is the apparent link. Better late than never.
