he is using a turning board...! at the end of the turns look his lower leg and how it's moving side to side as the board is slowing down, showing that he is on an uneven surface that is turning, just like a turning board.. plus you can hear the sound of the board at the end as he comes off it...

There's a good reason they don't show the feet.

If you look at the lower shin swiveling, that's a very good indicator that he's standing on flat on what is probably a turning board.

Ive seen here do 12 at pennsylania ballet summer course. there was a girl in PNB hwo i saw do 14 in rehearsal on point. so a boy on flat should be able to as well.
