I can kind of see why Jonathan Salas didn't work out with Skillet. First off, he has his own solo gig and just released his debut album last year. Also, his style of playing seems to be a cross between Sanctus Real and Lifehouse, and his voice sounds like a matured version of the singer from The Rocket Summer. Lastly, I don't think he would have quite fit the Skillet attitude.

I hate the fact that he left skillet, but you could of tell that he wasn't that comfortable on stage with skillet, although he seem to enjoy cause he would always write on his twitter about how great shows were, but then he could of just pretended. I notice that the band didn't really talk to him, only Korey. He's a great guitarist but I think he wasn't comfortable, it's my opinion. I love the fact that him and Ben are like good friends, who knows they could combine one day, that would be cool

I knew Jonathan forever ago when he was like 17 or 18 he used to play at my church some & i went to several of his shows around dallas then he had kind of a steady gig that was way far from where i lived so i lost touch & havent seen him in a long time but i just want every1 to know how much of a genuinly nice & talented guy he is & also that he has worked so hard for this music is his life im so happy hes now in skillet cause ive always liked them 2 thanks every1 for welcoming him so well:)
