The only reason I commented was because at the beginning of you first comment you put "So" which made it seem like a question and that you hadn't read the books. Harry Potter was similar 'the worst witch' and twilight is pretty much the same as most romance novels, so why is this such a big deal??? @60Jessie90 There's a difference between being similar and literally taking the entire concept of another book. The Hunger Games is pretty much exactly Battle Royale, but tweaked. A group of teenagers are forced to fight to the death, allowing the government to assert itself over the people and keep them in check via fear. I'm really looking forward to this movie, but there's no denying the author stole the idea.

Rowling took the concept of a magic school essentially. None of the books have been compared to 'Battle Royale' by any of the critics so why should the movie be any different?
