its how you raise the dog they need lots of excerise for there high energy even a black lab if not properly exersised and socialised will attack other dogs and be agressive toward people.

Any dog wouldn't attack other dogs in the first place. Even the worst pitbull apologists agree they have higher dog on dog aggression than on other breeds. And just repeating "Deed not breed" and "it's the owner's fault" mindlessly doesn't make it true.

The poor woman and her poor dog. What a nightmare she will carry in her heart for the rest of her life. All because some owners weren't responsible enough to ensure their pets were contained; and because pit bulls are allowed. There is the good pit bull dog owner but for the ones who aren't - they outrule all the common sense people. Pit bulls should be attacked. If it had been a child... Those dogs should be destroyed. Not their fault but they can't be trusted anymore. Sad all around.

@bolovoneichkamp They outperform many breeds including golden labs in temperment tests every year.That means they are stable and smart.All but 1 of Micheal Vicks fighting dogs were rehabbed and adopted out.There are way more attacks by other breeds and the dogs apparently didn't even attack the lady.Her fingertip was bitten off while trying to defend her dog.

It is mostly because the dog are strong. My neighbor has a mean little dog but I could easily kill it if it attacked me. A large pit-bull good luck getting it to stop attacking you.

BTW why in the hell would anyone want a vicious dog? This is the Hat not Winnipeg.
