  • From a Sheltie lover who owns two of them and understands they are a special breed of dog. As, you are a special breed of people God bless.....

  • Okay, you made me cry.

  • Rough translation for the comment below, from Portuguese:

Pretty work! I wait that they obtain to find a home for all. Pana that I live in another country, senão would go to also help.

  • Lindo trabalho!!! Espero que consigam achar um lar para todos eles.Pana que moro em outro país, senão iria ajudar também.

  • Like Autumn said, I also wish I'd adopted a rescue animal rather than buying a puppy. Live and learn, I guess. I just assumed (stupid, I know), that rescued animals were troubled pets. Now I know differently.

  • My parents have had a sheltie since before i was born and she died when she was 12, its been a year now and i've finally convinced my parents to get a new sheltie

  • Wish I had adopted instead of supporting an obvious to me now puppy farm as both of my shelties have serious problems problems physically......I will love them forever but I have learned to adopt from here on out.....

  • I feel so lucky to have a sheltie his name is Chavo

  • I encourage everyone considering getting a new dog to adopt. There are so many wonderful dogs out there that need homes. My family has rescued 4 shelties over the past 15 years and they have brought us so much joy. :)

  • They're so amazing and beautiful. It boggles my mind that someone has to let them go.

  • I have two Shelties and I can honestly say that not matter what kind of issues I come across, I would never be able to let go of them. They are my heart.

You're Shelties look healthy and happen. Thank you for all of your work .

  • Many are not poor at all, aside from needing a forever home. Some come to us due to a human family issue like divorce, elderly being put in nursing homes, or passing away, or people moving into apartments and not making sure they're allowed to have pets etc.

We have gotten in many young shelties that turned out to be great agility and herding dogs.

Check out your local rescues...they have some awesome pets just needing homes.

  • If only I could take them all in...poor shelties. 'Praying for u.

  • Oh and check out our other video 'Indiana Sheltie Rescue Northern Picnic'...you can see a lot of the adoptive families with their shelties. We have reunions in Indy and Ft Wayne which are a lot of fun, and lots of shelties!
