As for quoting scriptures the following are morbidly interesting: selling daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).
@TheLastModernist The last three passages you mentioned are all prophecies where God was simply stating what was going to happen. I will admit I have never understood Judges 11:29-40 so I have no answer for you there. Exodus 21:1-11 are actually laws to in a way protect the women in this situation. Notice the passage says "If a man sells his daughter as a servant. . . . " It does not say it is right or wrong to do it, it simply states what should be done if someone does sell their daughter.

He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken his faith with her." And up to verse 11 it says a similar story if he does this she has to go free, if he does that, he must not deprive her of food, clothing and marital rights and if he fails those three things she must go free without having to pay him any money at all.

God is amazing. He has done amazing and extrordinary things in my life. He is surely the king of kings and the ruler over everything. And nobody or nothing can change that. He is awesome and an amazing friend/mentor to have.

Said BE persistent n bold, I said: God, give me a new nature, making me one with you so that I hate sin instead of loving it as I do." Said it louder each night in Jesus name. Few weeks later I awoke feeling love bursting from my belly, like a dream come true, I was NEW. Dreams of Christ, visions, revelations came. LOVE :)

first time i heard this i was open to anything that might influence me to our God. My friend, who was constantly trying to get me to come to Jesus, sent me this song and i just wept. I couldn't figure out why this was happening. She then persuaded me that night to come to church and so i went. They played this song and once again i wept. As for quoting scriptures the following are morbidly interesting: selling daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

@TheLastModernist The last three passages you mentioned are all prophecies where God was simply stating what was going to happen. I will admit I have never understood Judges 11:29-40 so I have no answer for you there. Exodus 21:1-11 are actually laws to in a way protect the women in this situation. Notice the passage says "If a man sells his daughter as a servant. . . . " It does not say it is right or wrong to do it, it simply states what should be done if someone does sell their daughter.

He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken his faith with her." And up to verse 11 it says a similar story if he does this she has to go free, if he does that, he must not deprive her of food, clothing and marital rights and if he fails those three things she must go free without having to pay him any money at all.

i learned something today at church camp. if you feel awkward there is something wrong going on with your faith in God. God is amazing. He has done amazing and extrordinary things in my life. He is surely the king of kings and the ruler over everything. And nobody or nothing can change that. He is awesome and an amazing friend/mentor to have.

I AM shamed to say that am lacking in the eyes of the Trinity. I am not worthy of anything and yet They are ones who keep coming to me and working to keep me close and closer still. I look in my life and I reflect not one iota of God's deep heart. I realize tears, sundays and wednesdays are not enough and will never be enough in His eyes. I should be better than my spiritual ancestors since we live in better times. I dont want to be adam who lost everything because his heart failed the Trinity..

Thought "God is real" decided to stop thinking & read the Gospel, it said: "Ask for the Holy Spirit" in Jesus name, I did. Said: "ask for the kingdom to come upon you." I did. Said BE persistent n bold, I said: God, give me a new nature, making me one with you so that I hate sin instead of loving it as I do." Said it louder each night in Jesus name. Few weeks later I awoke feeling love bursting from my belly, like a dream come true, I was NEW. Dreams of Christ, visions, revelations came. LOVE :)

@kristineurie44 Yes I have.. but asking for heaven within now, the Living Water now, making that the only thing to ask for, a new Spirit, a new heart, not a better one, Christ to literally overpower you in every way, is what anyone should ask for.... in my opinion... seek the kingdom and HIS Spirit... is the commandment. Nobody believes God gives heaven within and the Spirit of Christ to a person, nobody seeks it... not even believers.. Sad.. Romans 10:3 and 3:10 plague the so called church

first time i heard this i was open to anything that might influence me to our God. My friend, who was constantly trying to get me to come to Jesus, sent me this song and i just wept. I couldn't figure out why this was happening. She then persuaded me that night to come to church and so i went. They played this song and once again i wept. I was just hysterical and found myself singing along to it after just hearing it once in that day. It was that day that I felt Gods Love and came to christ ! <3

There is no argument that you can make that was convince me that Jesus was not the son of the living god. He changed my life and the change he made in my life is evident. That change can happen in anyone s life if they just believe.

My friend recently came to christ after being atheist and making fun out of our beliefs and here he is now. saved and believing! God is just so good! and like you said, all we have to do is believe!

sometimes we just praise without sacrificing anything... but we have to give up the world to praise God, and we need to be willing to praise no matter what the cost-- we need to praise starting from the inside-- to praise with the knowledge that we are giving up our time and our idols, worldly things so we could truly praise God, not just singing to go back into the world without having giving up and struggling to follow God. That's what this song means to me ^^
