Yea it is MUCH louder than that. I think it was because it was brand new, after about 1000 miles they start to sound much different. I don't have the bike anymore, but would recommend one to anyone, it was an incredible bike. If you live in a hot climate though they won't be for you as it is like sitting on top of an oven.
Maybe the video doesn't do justice but that doesn't sound loud at all.....I've been told that the 2" were VERY loud...you have bigger baffles and can't barely hear the sound at idle.....is it just the video?
My dad has one of these exept its the skull collection, chrome everywhere, spikes and completely airbrushed.graphics everywhere, i should post a video of it soon

I could post a video of the bike with 5k miles on it now and you wouldn't think it was the same motor. Yea, the pipes are RUSH 2.5" with baffles in of course, don't remove the baffles from these they sound terrible without them.
nice ride, my brother has the same bike only its red and black,his pipes sound alot louder for some reason,i think he has the same pipes,maybe because its on video.ride safe and always watch out for the other driver.
baloney cut looks sweet on your bike...waitin on my power package from fuelmoto with pciii usb, hi flo K&N and rush slash cut slips 2'...Looking at this got me excited.. 2.25'bafs must be really loud?
I'll check that, do you know off hand if thats the stock setting or is something V&H or someone told you to change? I know there is a debate about mode 23 being a 15, 16 or 50. I have yet to try 15 in mode 23 the others suck 50 is the worst. mine is an 07 btw.

I like the Rush but I went with Khrome Werks 3 inch HP plus, theyre louder, thats the only reason I went with one, check mine out if ya want.

Nice train, have any probs with backfiring on decel? I just put fuelpak on mine with shortshots and it backfires a bit when letting off the gas.

Yea they are real nice. Have a nice idle, but when you crank the throttle a bit they really sound good.
