Just curious, what was the taste in the infected bottle you had? I had it on tap when it came out, and thought it was amazing. Having it from a bottle... I'm getting a lot of cooked cabbage in the smell and taste... sucks.

@Ferfie If you got cabbage anything, i might've been infected. I just got some stinging sourness. Thankfully my last bottle was pretty hoppy, which is how it should be from what I heard. This bottle I reviewed was so chocolatey. That's why I thought it tasted like The Abyss.

Watched your review just before bedtime and had to run downstairs and crack open the bottle of this I had in the fridge! Pretty tasty stuff. Found it improved with a little warmth in the glass.

Oh, BTW: the stutter tripped me up too! I actually rewound it to watch it a second time as I'd just looked away from the screen when you did that. LOL!

Wisconsin. I have never seen a Stone bottle at a liquor store within reasonable driving distance within Green Bay. The only Stone beers I have had (IPA and Arrogant Bastard) I had to order online.
