The best fast fish is the catfish

I've made some google spreasheets with all the fish, their growth time, cost, xp and coins per level. (including SD, gifted and box fish). They include all the latest fish (updated Jan 25th 2010). Also Level spreadsheets, treasure box and mystery box statistics.

This is really bad guide. I'm level 45 now and you just desribed one of the slowest and worst-lucrative strategies. Just use your calculator and you will see that Blue Hippo Tang is the fish the best ratio of time/xp

FAST fish is the secret dude not slow grow fish .. use calculator and compute the exp of of the fish .. scooter dark blenny is 216 exp and the 1 hour fish is 16 exp .. the 1 hour fish is fastest leveling because 16xp X 24 hours =384 XP

Here is what I suggest. Stick with the Longnose Butterfly in the beginning. Keep them til they are level 4. Sell them. When you are able to get the Blue Damsels, Start them. I have been using them and getting at least 210K exp with 180 fish.

Scooters Suck in my opinon, I suggest Blue Damsels, Quicker and More Exp. I am level 36, 4 Tanks, Waiting for my 5th One. With Blue Damsels, within 3-4 days, I get about 1404 Exp from each Fish.

Scooter blenny r best for xp, they grow twice as fast as the grouper's and they sell for 100 more coins and like 50 more xp per once they get to lvl two (the same time a grouper would get lvl 1)

no if you know your going to be busy for the day use slow fish for a decent amount of exp and coins but if you have time to kill fast fish get u coins and exp way faster

Basically that would mean others could play and keep your tank in top condition without you doing anything. Zynga's purpose is to have the user come back often thus it would be anti-productive for Zynga to let you feed my fish :)

Once the fish reach adults (lvl 4) They can continue to lvl but they will usually have a longer growth time per level after adult hood
