I really wanted to like this film but it was just horrible to watch. Like a David Lynch wannabe film, without decent direction, screenplay and script. I love a lot of strange films but this was just confusing! I would love to see Patton in something better, I think he does have the acting potential.
@geengeena I think Patton was frustrated by the sheer amount of time it takes to film (and be on set to film). He probably could have cut three albums in the same time it took for him to make one movie.
I'm a big fan of Mike Patton but this film I found really hard to enjoy, the acting was pretty bad and the film in general just didn't make that much sense. Kinda like a David Lynch film without the acting talent or decent script/screenplay. I really wanted to like it but it was just painful to watch :C
Don't get me wrong, I'm like any other Pattonite and would do ANYTHING for Him, but this is one thing I wouldn't give my full attention to more than 10 times... Though I would give full attention 10 times =P (except the rape scene, that was kinda uncomfy)

The movie was strange and surreal and somewhat disjointed and cut off. I wanted to see more of Patton as David with the black and white scenes - which could have given us a lot more to get a feel for the character's (particularly David).
Patton's acting was strained at times, other times pretty good. Not bad for a new comer to the business in my opinion. He's got that look about him like he could "go off" at any minute. Good looking yet kind of creepy.
I love Patton's music, always have... but how come I'm just finding out about this movie six years later?

i think he over-acted a lot in the film.
music is definately his strong point.

I think he did 50/50 job for this movie. I mean, some moments of his acting looked PERFECT while the rest was just... fucked up.
