@danjay300 try flicking out and catching it with only your front foot. Dont worry about your back foot, once your comfortable with catching front foot jump jump and jump

this is a great tutorial and it explains how to overcome the big problem i had to start with (i didn't jump) but it is always best to jump even if u land with the board upside down cos it took me 6 months to learn it then i saw this vid and got it straight away.
