  • I love how this video is about 3 frames per second. Can't bitch though. I came here willingly.

  • Can you do this with halo?

  • Wow.

In high school, I had Tetris...

  • Aww man your cool you fat nigger.

  • damn tis is cool howd ya do it?

  • I'm gonna be learning a whole lot during the rest of the school year ;)

  • In class.

YEAH TAKE THAT YOU DEMONS DIE! DIE!

    Teacher:what?!

    Umm nothing...

  • @MrDahlas X-D

  • is this game is the first 3d games of the world ? (sry 4 my bad eng)

  • @Froid007able Not even close. There have been 3D games of various kinds almost since video games were invented. One of the first consoles ever was called the Vectrex. It had 3D mapping similar to Star Fox. There were also virtual reality visors and other hardware in the 80's. Also, the NES and other comparatively primitive systems had flight simulators and other games which utilized the Z-axis.

There was also motion control, online gaming, and wireless tech LONG before you would think.

  • @xJoeEDangerouslyx Thank for your knowledge :"))

  • Used a Ti82 Myself. Thought creating a Tetris clone on it was hard.

I see this, and all of a sudden my Tetris clone feels a bit... "Meh!"

On the other hand, the chat software and wireless network we created for the Ti calculators back in the school was fun (specially during the math tests)

Now one could try to combine this, and the wireless network and have multiplayer?

  • In 1998, I would have been the coolest kid in school with this.

  • AWESOME

  • is a calculator?????????

  • Gameboy Doom!!!

Well the closest thing anyway. Awesome :)

  • SWEET! That's pretty cool!

  • THIS IS MADNESS

  • I've two questions:

    - Does it work on the TI-84 Plus SE?

    - Does it support multiplayer? :b

  • @MrPlayboy28 83 programs should work on the 84

  • @MrPlayboy28 it should work on the 84+ SE, but i cant say for sure, sadly no multiplayer.....yet....

  • only works on ti? not hp 50G?

  • @clabadie not, different programming languages

  • @TPMFofMFF correction: no, different programming languages

  • will this work on the ti-30xiis

  • @jefftheposter i dont think so, on 83+ through 84+ (maybe SE)

  • im gonna buy one and do this in school

  • @Haukthefurry thats what im doing... lol

  • Oh yeah! Now I can get away with gaming in class, but at the same time make it look like I'm doing work.

  • lawl now ima go play gta4 on my pencil bye guys

  • There are nerds.

    There are super-nerds.

    There's Einstein.

    And the there's you.

  • @Kocynhe and loving it

  • Would it be possible to program this entirely on your calculator, rather than downloading it to it?

  • @nyved100 I had hoped for the same thing (and still do since I can't find my cable), but this type of program would be difficult to program on the calculator, even if you could. There may be one way to do it if you have a special program on the calculator, but you would need to download that anyway.

  • @TPMFofMFF The TI-83 and TI-84 have BASIC built in, you can program directly into the calculator. Read the manual :P

  • @onemanescapepod Unless this one doesn't use BASIC, in which case I have no idea :P

  • @onemanescapepod yes, you can program alot of great games yourself using the build in BASIC editor, however this is assembly for that needs to be run through a flash software, both of which require a computer link.

  • Teacher: Its good your finally interested in math!

Me: (If only they would see the screen)

  • Now that's cool!.....

    ROFL at top comments!

  • now do crysis

  • Geez, you can strafe! :)

  • Ahh, calculator games. Allow you to pass boring time in school without risk of a teacher confiscating it, unlike iPods and PSPs.

  • @RCROX5000 thats it. if anything they praise you for doing extra maths XD

  • im gunna try to get this on my ti-83 plus, gunna try and get a usb cord today

  • @cooler123999 hope it works out for ya

  • @TPMFofMFF could yuo plz make vid like except on scholar calc

  • thats pretty bad ass. lol now imagine multiplayer

  • @gamezonic actually there are some games that you can use multiplayer on

  • @TPMFofMFF hehe i like how things with bad graphics still get games forced into it

  • @TPMFofMFF im gonna fail FAU seeing this now lmao

  • i just played black ops on my pencil...with my friends....pencil wifi

  • I once dreamed about this...it was a wet dream

  • i want that for math

  • I always expected a gun should be considered a Texas instrument.

  • Oh wait, I have a PsP. Works better on that.

  • @richardhalo really? i had no idea that a gaming system that came out in 2005 would be better then a calculator that came out in 1999.

  • @TPMFofMFF Uhmm, yup.

  • @TPMFofMFF XD smart ass lol

  • What the music? It's really cool!

  • Just wrong...

  • yeah now i'm gonna play cod on potato

  • i want it!!

  • problem is though

    one of these calculators if

    over $100

  • i know what im going to be doing in math class

  • Is that a calculator your playing it on there?

  • @TPMFofMFF Amazing 0.01 bit power.

  • And now, Math Lessons are getting exciting :D

  • What next? Crysis on a microwave?

  • doom on a fucking calculator???

  • does it work on a ti-84?

  • @maxvago1234 I should

  • @maxvago1234 yes.

  • so far i think thats better that a gameboy haha the only reason i looked up ti-82 was becuase i saw it on epic battel of history albert einstine Vs stephen hawkings!!!

  • what kind of cord do i need for the ti-83 plus and where do i buy it

  • @maurice2716 there is a usb-to-2.5mm cable specifically for it at best buy, TI's website, ebay, and some walmarts. Best buy is where I got mine, so I know its there at the least.

  • @TPMFofMFF I saw that too, a really funny video

  • @hunterorionserna can you not? it should work on an 84+ se

  • it"s not DOOM !

  • @callthedoktor citation needed

  • Needs Doom music.

  • I could have done this in school in maths class if i had one of those (and if they even existed back when I was there), the teacher could be thinking I'm studying, completely unaware that I'm actually playing games!

  • This would make for an interesting conversation,

So you're talking to your buddies and they're like

"I love the PS3 so much"

    'Xbox 360 is better"

    "Wii is the best!"

then you step in and say

"Fuck that shit! The Ti-83+ is the best!"

    them = O_o o_O O_O

  • how does this bad boy handle Crysis 2 ??

  • @kattbajs23 it worked fine for me but check the alt link in the description

  • How?

  • @teddzertell123 WITH SCIENCE

  • Doom is everywhere

  • how powerfull is the processor of that calculator?

  • @GE24Tony 6MHz :D

  • @HikaruHosokawa

    and that means?

    powerfull or not?,i mean,for a calculator of course :D

  • @GE24Tony o no, ps3 iz beter loooooool

I'm joking :) Euhm, iPhone 1G processor is 500MHz, HTC Desire's processor is 1GHz... so it's powerfull for a calculator but you can overclock it to 15MegaHerz.

The TI-83 Silver Edition is more powerful : 15MHz without overclocking !

  • @GE24Tony But : yes you can run this game on your TI-83 Plus, I got this game too

You have just to install MirageOS (google) and then, you put this game on your TI, then you launch MirageOS from "Apps" button, you push "2nd", then you select the game with : "Down, 2nd" :)

(sorry for my bad english, I'm french ^^)

  • @HikaruHosokawa

i have a calculator that looks like thatbut i'm not sure of the moddel

  • @GE24Tony It's written on the high right corner : "TI-83 Plus"

  • this looks much better than the port

  • F*ck, no matter what console or mobile you have, DOOM will always be there! : D

  • is this not a Wolfenstein?

  • @majq777 not that I'm aware of

  • wow very good job!

  • @sleeper07sleeper thanks, but remember i didn't make the program

  • I must have this calculator :O

  • @pivotjuggalo you can grab them cheap(ish) off ebay, just make sure your aren't ripped off and get a broken one

  • @deejayem91 not that bad, it's simpler then most computer or console games, just takes a sec to learn what buttons do what.

  • Hey,

I did some research. Music used is

    Artist: Immediate Music

    Song: Sacrificium

Album: Themes For Orchestra And Choir 2

    Composers: J. Fayman & Y. Goren

I have to admit I'm not sure the artist is correct. Ze great internetz says this album has an alternative title, "Abbey Road".

    FYI

  • @gehirnmuchte I can confirm that it is by Abbey Road/Immediate Music and the title sound right. Due to switching around computers i lost a good bit of music so I can't find the track. Good work mate.

  • vishiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii rodo quadrado mais rodo

  • Oh, dry i didn't Read The credits

  • @123polizei321meins yeah, i can code well in basic, there is no way i could do this

  • WOW. You Coded this all yourself in Assembly? Cool.

Do you think you can do this with Basic too?

  • Did you Code this right on The calculator?

  • @123polizei321meins no its an Assembly program that needs to be downloaded from a computer

  • Comment removed

  • lol it looks so boring

  • @steve122288 then don't play

  • @TPMFofMFF i cant because theres nothing to play just manikins and a halway

  • @steve122288 you keep telling yourself that

  • @TPMFofMFF Manikin Hallway 3 i can see it now; it almost makes the game sound like fun XD

  • Yeah now i´m gonna play halo on my stapler

  • @Dragonwalker8 be sure to upload a video, i will be most impressed

  • @Dragonwalker8 Ok, tell me whats your K/D after

  • @Dragonwalker8 i just LOL'd and snotted on my VIZIO. thanks dick.

  • Math class just got fun!

lol i am a doom freak i got doom 1,2,3 and probably every custom map you can get for it, now i have a new endeavor...

I have to find doom math edition

    lol

  • oh my god what the fuck

  • @TPMFofMFF this had to be done on a computer; ti-basic can't do stuff like this

  • @Thjaca12 this is true, this was done in assembly, which the ti can run

  • How do people do this...???

  • @Pokegod100 with awesomeness and too much free time in math class

  • I didn't even know the TI had 3D.

  • @sdkudrgn01 It actually doesn't, but the calc programming community said "screw that" and made a 3D game anyway.

  • @sdkudrgn01 technically it doesn't, this program creates the illusion of 3-D

  • fuuuck why cont my calculator have a usb on it. some do at my school but mine doesnt

  • why is there no doom theme :/

  • what's the dramatic music???

  • @jmnmlspl I actually don't remember the title, but I know its is by Abby Road, they produce dramatic music like in this video

  • was this filmed on a ti-83+ too..?

  • @marshie1337 sadly I haven't figured out how to hock it to a webcam, so no.

  • ...doom o wow

  • I could play call of duty modern warfare 2 on a leaf

  • That's incredible !

  • they should make cod4 for the TI

  • @StuckAllOv3rU1 i think i've actually seen a CoD game for the TI.....

  • YAY I WAS THE 100th LIKER!!

  • @mrlegomedia Gratz!

  • @mrlegomedia 125th liker...pwned

  • @xtremerulez12 130th liker. PWNED

  • whtas the filemanager you use in the beginning

  • @Wavedude21101 It's call Mirage, its a application for running assembly applications, you can find it on ticalc.org

  • No, no music!

  • "no health - dead" O RLY

  • @JLMBfreafin YA RLY! Because of the glare on the screen I wanted to make sure it was clear

  • @TPMFofMFF lol, ok then, but the sentence was just plain stupid =P

  • @JLMBfreafin i'll give you that

  • will it work with TI-84 plus?

  • @joecoolbackinschool It should work, but sometimes there are program conflicts between 83 and 84, good luck

  • I'm remembering this to use in school someday. :D

  • @GannondorkVBA be sure to let me know, i may just whip up a program for you ;P

  • IDDQD! IDKFA!

  • The texture a good

  • I remember doing this. Once I was playing this in math class and was doing so well until I lost.

"DAMN IT YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!!!"

My teacher looked at me along with the class.

"Uh. . . My calculator died."

  • righteous

  • This would make my D in math an E

  • nooo shit! fucking cool

  • if this thing had wifi, you know someone would run wow on it. because wow will run on ANYTHING. A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

  • omg omg omg :D i want this on my boring-ass math classes :D:D:D

  • THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME

  • its that a calculator

  • @TonihGangstar yes, it is the TI 83+ graphing calculator

  • @TPMFofMFF haha nice

  • Comment removed

  • My classes just got shitloads more epic.

  • Awesome thanks

  • yes, math class here i come!

  • thats just amazing, a calculator...? damn

  • Simplified Doom for the Ti-83+, that's pretty cool. I think I'll have to look for it sometime. Some of the game remakes for this calculator are hilarious.

  • Awesome. Now let's see Crysis!

  • sick shit!!! Hehe TI DooM! ;-D Nice one...

  • these calculators are just awesome... i have seen someone on youtube with an mp3-player for it, too...

the only bad thing is that you cannot put more than 2 songs on it because it´s got like 512KB of memory... for a calculator, this is still ridiculous, though :P

  • @sciencoking

I don't think you could even put one song on it with 512KB of memory.

Most 3 minute songs are about 3 MB

  • maybe a shorter one with a miserable quality...

but basically youre right. It would be useless :P

Some 8-bit-midi-synthesizer would be much more likely indeed.

  • multi player mode?
