Yup. I have same problem with my HP laptop and its webcam. Unfortunbately there doesnt seem to be driver support for some devices with win7 so I have to boot my machine using XP OS to use webcam

Wouldnt mind but this laptop is only a couple of years old!

Wont buy HP again.

i have youcam 3 and it doesn't look like this. also is there any way to pause the video's in the process of making them? all i see is a stop button and you then you have to start a new video

It does work.

Win7 might be the problem. I've been getting driver and resolution errors with programs that I know worked on XP.
