This makes me want to "rewatch" Voyager.

Rewatch being in quotations because I don't think that falling asleep in your dad's lap while he watches it every night when you're six-years-old constitutes as actually watching the series.

Regardless, ever since then I've wanted to be Captain Janeway in the craziest of ways.

I didn't read the pocket book, but I have readed it in the star trek Magazine of the special Edition. It's a pitty that the writer let Janeway die. I think that Janeway, Seven of Nine are the strongest Characters of the Voyager series. They make the stories!

A lot of people knock Janeway as a bad captain, but she was actually more interesting as a character.

Although I like Picard, he was sometimes a little too perfect and got on my nerves.

Janeway would make a decision and would always second guess herself. I find it amusing that Trek fans that would criticize her, do so because she was not perfect.
