MY friend is creating a poratable can crusher had trouble at first with the levers but reaserched other compactors online and figured out how set the lever in a slidable slot so it lifts the plate straight up about 2 ft from the bottom of the bin and he can crush any size cans of about 30 at once ! NO elctricity no pnemautics needed totally poratable to use while put collecting cans on streets ! HE already applied for the patent and has contacts with some comapny in NYC that will GET it markete

Cool, I´ve vistied a few "can-crusher-vids" and now I´m asking myself: Why the hell these people develop a can crusher? Why they don´t look for a possibility to avoid cans? As waste, I mean. In Germany, we have a fee on cans. 0,25€ per each can. The government wanted to reach, that the one-way packings won´t be sold so much anymore. the only thing they reached is, we have cleaner streets ;-)

@Fastline1000 you crush cans to recycle them... and we pay a can fee too, tho no where near 25 cents. We crush cans cause you can bring more to be recycled in one load, less loads + more money = win :)

I made one that can do up to 20 cans at once in 5 secs crushed NO machine portable device using lever on a recycle bin ! Hate using the van to crush them wear and tear on trans going back n forth NOW as i pick em up they are crushed in secs and all i have to do is take em to yard next day of course after weighing MYself so i dont get ripped off ! HE took out 16 lbs of tear weight on 60 lbs last week ! NOW i add water in the bottel cans with lids on them to add 20 - 30 lbs to stop theft

your using money to turn in the cans for money. If you like crushing the cans that way go ahead. I would go with a mechanical gear ratio that allow you to turn a wheel by hand and get the can extremely flat. A guy made one. go to "metalmangler420"

mag a sort of a mag so it would go faster, and make it automatic crushes something wehn its under it(with weight or something) but this is ok
