It comes in both versions. CDMA, or GSM. I work for a CDMA carrier and we have this phone. It is not dual CDMA/GSM (there is no slot for a simcard in the CDMA version)

i gave up my HTC Tilt for the 16gb iphone. i regretted getting this iphone. functions are limited and only available for purchasing. why would wifi matter? it has 3G which is as fast, if not faster, and 3G is acessable EVERYWHERE where as wifi is only acessable in certain spots. If wifi is whats holding u back dont let it, 3G is the best.

Only the GSM Touch and the Touch Cruise have wifi. The CDMA Touch (Sprint/Verizon) are the only ones subsidized in the US and they don't have wifi. You can of course just buy one of the GSM versions and use it on AT&T or T-mobile w/o any problems.

The Japanese version actually does have wi-fi, the europe version doesn't, neither does the taiwanese.

I'm aware that there are two different kind of keyboards, the qwerty 24 key, and the abc 16 key.

But remember on the touch dual they have taken off WIFI due to in britain you can only get it on contract, and most get free internet anyway. this is usally by GPRS, 3.5g, EDGE or normal 3g.

Dual is cool, but I still think HTC Touch is cooler. Yes, you get the keyboard for this one. But there's a soft keyboard, TouchPal for HTC Touch, and it works even better than the hard keyboard! I just tried it and it's AWESOME! I don't think I need a hard keyboard any more. :)
