Many people who know have a lot of knowledge of gurbani have been kicked out of the gurdwara. Some gurdwara's do that because they don't want people to have knowledge about gurbani, they just want people to come to the gurdwara, give money, bow to Guru Granth Sahib ji, eat langar, and leave.

Prof Darshan Singh Khalsa is correct. Guru Granth Sahib ji was given the Gur Gadhi by Guru Gobind Singh ji, not the Dasam Granth. Yes, it is bani to provide soldiers strength and power to fight, but it was not given the Gur Gadhi and should not be placed on the same level of Guru Granth Sahib.
