Very good. I must say though, ever notice how they at least kept the same type of music for Resident Evil 4, but still killed the original gameplay. And in RE5, they killed everything. Great.... At least RE4 was awesome and original. What does RE6 hold?

I can accept RE4 as a spinoff, because that's the BEST it will ever be. But RE5 was an abortion. Even worse than 5, if that's possible. RE:CV was probably (on the first playthrough, anyway) the best game. As far as extended quality and character development, RE2 wins in every category. It shaped the future of RE until 4 happened ._.

RE2 is a short game compared to the others.... it was made very quickly but somehow it is my favourite of all REs and i have all of them. Wish they made a remake.

personally i think it's longer than resident evil, because though you can beat it decently fast one way, beating it both ways, will always be slower than beating resident evil. It's 2 games in one. Just my opinion.

lol, longer than resident evil 3* they tried to make resident evil 1 and 3 longer by extra content after you beat it, whereas #2 was made longer by essentially making it 2 slightly shorter games. Imho, this makes it a much more satisfying game to play.

Very amazing thank you! Peace of Mind is my favorite from the whole series.

It was a very soothing time walking into the safe rooms. The music always made me forget about the damn zombies, and I ended up never wanting to leave the room lol. But then you usually find some ammo and health, and soon find the will to put to some holes into those ugly bastards again lol.

Dang, that was pretty awesome. You should check out my RE1 and 2 save room medley. It's all done with an acoustic guitar. It's not as impressive as this video, but still.

Also, I mixed all the songs together, so they don't sound exactly like they do in the games.

As for the soundtrack of both games not much to say, simply incredible. The save room theme of RE1 makes me feel calm and secure and of RE2 I feel sad and uncertain to go out of the room lol. It reminds me Evanescence as well...

The safe room themes have always been my overall favourites from the RE soundtracks... they create such a wonderful gloomy atmosphere, great for anything from studying to relaxing... but they became less and less with the newer parts of the game. RE4 had a GREAT one though, even if it was a completely new style (for the first time NO piano or strings, just syntheshizer)! The outbreak series unfortunately lacked music like this, so does RE UC... :-/
