That is not true - those levies preceded the Bush presidency. In addition - it was Governor Blanco that failed to issue the mandatory evacuation timely, not President Bush - he had to call her to ask why she was delaying - that's gross incompetence on her part. She also delayed given permission to other state governors to send in their national guard - again at her feet, not President Bush's - and don't get me started on all of those buses allowed to sit there unused.

I don't see why it's such a bad thing to consider long & hard who will be ready to answer the phone at 3 AM. Clinton's ad is realistic & anyone thinking it's not is still sleeping. It should be the first thing on your mind when voting. The president is not just the head of a company trying to avoid a financial downturn, increase corporate profits & employee morale. The president is the head of a country also trying to handle 9/11/01, the Cuban misile crisis, the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The Katrina mess was caused by the Democrats at the state level, and the Louisiana voters overwhelmingly threw them out as soon as they got the chance. Bush also didn't lie to get us into Iraq - for that to be true, he would have to have superpowers to manipulate intelligence in the U.S. and abroad retroactively prior to presidency. Look up the video "Gore to Bush: You ignored Saddam's Terrorist Ties" from 1992.
