i read about nanotechnology 15 years ago in the scientific american, what was very worrying was the fact that these micro machines have the ability to break things down and the fact that they can be controlled via radio waves yes there is a good side to nanotechnology ie medical aid to the body like an anti virus and anti body protection but it can also be used as mind control and even destruction
@rolficus Technology has been developed by humans, humans are either good and evil, all the technology we have today is used both to control and destruction, happiness and well being,
My ass a box. You can't create a chiar or a toaster it contains so many atoms that even if you put the atoms with the speed of light you can't do it for a 1000 years. Calculate it yourself or read Artur Clark (future profiles). So you have 2 types of nanofacturing (I define this term now and it's my copyright bitch):
1. Produce relatively linear materials in big amounts and cut and merge them to create chairs, etc..
2. Produce nanobots creating other nanobots, DNA approach- robot out of a cell.
I wonder if the title of this video has been an answer in Jeopardy?

they will not make oil
they will make solar panls, that will make 2x the amount energy, that one liter(0.26 gallons) of oil can make
btw at 5:09 it sounds like the whole "equivalent exchange" thing out of
