@Tsarina88 I have been in 2009 . She is buried there but under a thick metal plaque after body's robbery in 1970. It is not a memorial body is there.

I always thought it was counter intuitive that Argentina's most celebrated and famous citizen should have such a small tomb. Thanks for posting this, however.

I was there. It took awhile to find her tomb, but it was worth it. I put a flower there- it was a very- I don't know how to say it- haunting- experience

By the way, the plaque says, "No me llores. Perdida ni lejana. Soy parte esencial de tu existencia." That means, "Don't cry for me. I'm not lost or far away. I'm an essential part of your life." Apparenty, this is what Evita said before she died, and Andrew Lloyd Webber made it into a song for the musical.

The only thing I could make out was "No me llores..." which translates as "Don't cry for me..." It's the plaque at the very top, with the girl holding the palm leaves (or whatever it is).

John is my brother, Gabi his wife. They have spent the past few months traveling around S America.His Eva vids he took for me, he knows I have always been facinated by her. One video, sea lions everywhere, another penguins. Recently he was in the earthquake in Chile, and I think he is or is on his way to Machu Pichu, fantastic videos,altitude sickness. :)
