  • It's magic in the sense that if you were to hand a newbie who had no idea how to solve the cube but had relatively good spatial perception, they would probably think of the way described in video 4, not this one.

  • I'm surprised that you posted videos concerning my comments!

    Around 1:40 you mentioned that the sequence I gave was a commutator. Is it really? I never thought of it that way, but you might be right (you seem to be better at group theory ;P).

    If you watch the corner edge pairs moving around, you can actually see how the sequence works... so it's not totally "magic", I'd say.
