If one of us was hurt she took up right to the docters and if the docters was not open she took us to the E.R.. my 3 younger siblins where 4,5,and 6 years old and my mom was an addict and achoalic and tried to kill herself. My foster mom is also my adopted mom and she had us for 3 yrs befor abel to adopt us all.

I had her to the doctor within hours. The department tried to blame me, until I showed them medical documentation that it had been allowed to go on for weeks, not the hours she had been home. They shut up after that, because they knew if they pushed it, I had a good legal case on my hands.

That IS terrible! I don't think ALL foster parents are abusive, but I don't ever think a child should be put into foster care when they have loving parents that are willing to raise them. Efforts should be made to assist the the natural parents first. Unfortunately, there is a monetary incentive for placing children into foster care, which is a major flaw in the system, and encourages corruption.
Why? Welcome to reality, people. DHS does not look good nor profit from taking actions against the very foster parents that they put the child into care with. Wake up, people. This IS happening, now.
