@Bfolks84 acting town is a video sharing website exclusively for aspiring actors. I know they have contests and stuff if your video is popular or rated high. good luck.
Hey, thanks a lot. The monologue is actually a happy monologue. He is talking to the first woman who has ever fallen in love with him. He had never given up hope for that moment because of his father.
reallllllllllllllly good...but you need to find out where to look..a veiw point...your eyes are all ovr and look weird on camera....and you need to do tighter shot....i like this! 5* *fave*
Yes, I agree with everyone about the white noise. I too haven't seen the movie.
For one, I disagree with Langcreator about the overall pauses. Take the pauses as you see fit. Along with that, I feel your pacing is a bit rushed. Slow down some parts to give more variety, as well as more changes in your tone of voice. This is where a good mic comes into play.
This is a super cool monologue...loving the mixture of smiling and almost crying and for the most part I thought it was delivered well. I have two recommendation if I can add my 2 cents. One: dress up your background a bit more because that's the first thing our eyes focus on when the video comes up. Two: Get eliminate some of the pauses - some are essential, but some are telling. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for dropping by and checking out my clip. You got a great voice and the control of the piece. After watching your clip, I have to do some work on my vocal to step it up. Great work man, looking forward to seeing some more.
Hey Bforks thanks for the comment and you asked me to check out your video which I have done. Very good my friend, haven't seen the movie Marty myself but very good acting.
Whoops forgot I was still on my other account which I don't use only for uploading size testing. I say again...

That was beautiful. Wonderful choice of monologue and thanks for your nice compliment on mine. I'd love to see just you, by maybe more of a closeup on your face to reveal your emotions. The background kind of distracted me too. I find, a plain background and facing the camera works best for video auditions. This is great; however, if you were auditioning live. GREAT JOB though, keep it up!!! YOU'RE WONDERFUL!!! :-)
Great job on the acting! My own criticism is that the background noise and shaky camera were distracting. Do it again with a camera stand and less ambient noise and I think you will have something outstanding!
hey! thanks a lot. You are absolutely right. After I uploaded I realized how much white noise there was, I'm thinking about posting a new monologue soon. Thanks again! :)

i like it. really liked how you DID stumble over the words sometimes. it showed your enthusiasm and dedication to the part, and made it believable.

SLOW DOWN. You are chewing over some of the words and I can't understand what you are saying. Slow down and enunciate.
