and of course, the Americans would shoot first look second. Any real fire-fighter from any country would check to see the fire before blasting everyone in sight. oh well, I'll let america take one for the team on this one, at least that little brat got what was coming to him...
I don*t understand... Surely that "FIRE!" - shout makes Bertie a very good actor, seeing as everyone (including the other actors) take it seriously! So it wasn*t really his fault, i think. -_-
i quite like that painting.....and, as much as i love the end....NOOOO!!!! i wanted them to stay in america 'til the end of the season! they can go back in 3X06!...
I'm glad they're off back to Blighty. The American ones were ok, but this one I didn't like all that much. All the norms just seemed to be going out of the window - Jeeves' plans weren't working properly, Bertie had a godawful moustache, and worst of all, he was travelling long distance without Jeeves by his side! :'(
How come this play doesn't have any understudies, so that they have to go immediately to Bertie? (I know they said before that they wanted an Englishman in the role, but they're going to take such a chance for their Broadway debut!)
Still life with eggplant?? Ive a stitch in my tummy from laughing

"Oh, I trust there was never any doubt about that, sir."

2:30 -- The musical number reminds me of the Busby Berkeley's "By a Waterfall" in the film "Footlight Parade" (1933).

@hlapidu2 I don't think they generally retain understudies for one-line parts.

Jeeve's faceplam when Aunt Agatha gets hosed is just amazing.
And we all have no doubt about who is really in charge!
I'm glad he got rid of the moustache. He just didn't look like the Bertie we all know and love.

Ah poor Bertie. Never thought he'd be one to get stage fright.
And yes, that painting is a special version of hideous.

BWW: Now, Jeeves, about this moustache.
Jeeves: Yes, Sir?
BWW: You don't like it--do you?
Jeeves: It is not my place to offer an opinion on the object, Sir.
BWW: Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not all that keen on it, either. I only kept the bally thing on to show who's the master.
Jeeves (FTW!): Oh, I trust there was never any doubt about that, sir.
