  • Wow I didn't think 4 could get any worse...

  • This Movie was'nt made by Warner Bros. It was made buy Golan-Globus's Cannon Films!

  • @ColoredTroop , true, but Warner Bros own the rights to the superman collection and most DC Comics.

  • if this retard troll keeps on spamming, i'm going to have approve all post.

  • @markhorneyuk I've not uploaded a YouTube video myself yet, but is it technically possible for you to delete that spammer's post and ban this particular user from entering comments on your videos instead? I thought he was only a troll but then I just realized he's been at this for months on every single Superman IV-related video he can find, so there has to be some way to stop OCD-complexes like him?

  • @DarkCK05 , this is why I had to approval all videos, because he was spamming all my videos and others superman videos with the same garbage and kept on creating a new screen name over and over again, so approval was the only idea I could come up with, it gives me a chance to ban him and delete his comment, as it wasn't read by other people and it didn't clutter up the video message board.

  • @NukeAllSnarks Peace sucks dude get with the program! its all about war now.

  • @tomononocon , don't bother replying to his comments, he's become a spammer now, it's posting over again the same crap.

  • @markhorneyuk I know he is a spammer, I just wanted to see what he would say.

  • Hey everybody look, bizzaro...

  • @essdoug , ENOUGH WITH THE BIZZARO JOKES! ..... IT'S NOT BIZARRO, IT'S JUST A BIZARRE EXPERIMENT THAT LEX LUTHER MADE AS THE FIRST NUCULAR MAN, IT'S EVEN STATED IN THE DAMN CREDITS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!.... #FIRST NUCULAR MAN (UNCREDITED) GET IT!

  • @markhorneyuk Film credits are not always accurate, sometimes through simple human error, and have also been known to intentionally obfuscate information. I don't know which happened here. This goofy, clumsy Superman clone fits at least one of Bizarro's several origin stories. If you put him in a burned, dark blue super-suit, and if his skin started calcifying, you would have classic comic-book Bizarro. They might have developed this in a sequel if they'd decided to keep it in the movie!

  • @NukeAllSnarks, alright, can you stop posting theses message on my video, as they are cluttering up and are becoming annoying, we all appricate your love for the enviroment, but too much of it can be spam..... Thank you.

  • Not surprised they cut this.

  • @NukeSnarks @NukeOrangeCounty OKAY WE GOT IT, NUKES ARE BAD NUKES HURT PEOPLE EVEN THOUGH they protect people NUKES ARE TERROR WEAPONS, YOUR MOM GOT FUCKED BY GIANT NUKES. WE HATE NUKES!

THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER, THIS MOVIE LAPS EMPIRE STRIKES BACK,THIS MOVIE ONLY MENTIONED THREE TIMES MORAL IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE REST IF THE 50 MINUTES WE GOT IT! WE ALL AGREE, WE ALL HATE NUKES, YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANT, NOW FUCKING LEAVE!

  • @NukeSnarks Welcome to the intenet, its fun making fun of things people made fun of back in the fun ol 80's.

  • @NukeSnarks Was that a joke or a look at your personal fetishes?

  • Gee,I never thought that this movie could suck even more!!No wonder why they deleted that scene...

  • "For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."

    --Christopher Reeve, 1987

"Except for fools and madmen, everyone knows that nuclear war would he an unprecedented Human catastrophe."

    --Carl Sagan

... fools, madmen and snide fans who get off on turning their stuck up noses at the sub-microscopic flaws of a movie trying to promote WORLD PEACE.

  • @princeofthieves1000 You're the only fool and madman around here, freak.

  • Did he really just say "it's alive" ?

  • I've been reading a lot of negative comments and people shitting all over this movie. As a young impressionable ten years old, this movie was actually pretty good.

Fast forward 23 years later when I saw this movie again, I realized that you are right and this movie make Superman III look like the Godfather II.

  • Perhaps it's just as well well this scene never saw the light of day in the final film- the accompanying score is absolutely ATROCIOUS!!!!

  • Oh my God... that first Nuclear Man was Clive Mantle, Little John from TV's "Robin of Sherwood". Poor guy... :(

  • @KingCharltonHeston , yeah, i was surprised of that as well, I mean, he's just a simple soap actor in the UK, he's only big for playing on british tv series "Causalty", we never thought of him appearing on a famous movie title like this.

  • @NukeOrangeCounty hey uhhh, nobody cares, this wasnt the entire point of the movie, you are disrespecting reeve with your bs

  • As bad as this movie was, I like Lenny better than Otis.

  • O.....M....G. Just when I thought S4 couldn't get any worse.

  • Bizarro?

  • @z1u12b , No..... Just a bizarr idea.

  • @z1u12b Eddie Izzard?

  • Better than S-Returns.

  • worst super hero porn ever made

  • wow this part was awful, glad they just went with regular nuclear man.

  • I sure wish they'll ought to be a director's cut of Superman IV with the missing 45 minutes back into the flick with today's digital effects to make it more thrilling than it was badly made in 1987 as a 90 minute grindhouse flick.

  • "For dignity, my reputation's at stake"

Considering the movie that would've been a hard line for hackman to deliver.

  • Is this a true story?

  • @leafyutube , I beg your pardon?... LOL

  • @leafyutube are you fucking for real?

  • @leafyutube Yes it is true... this idea was scapped, and it was decided to have a non-retard to be supermans villian-- hence a more menacing villian. This footage is not made up, it's on the premium edition DVD in the deleted scenes.

  • I didn't know David Bowie had a cameo in this x(

  • Just because its APOCALYPTICALLY bad.., doesn't make it unlikable. This IS awesome :)

  • @GenesisKnights , well, what ever turns you on ..... LOL

  • @markhorneyuk Thankyou man :]

Imo, The first Superman and Superman 2: The Donner Cut, are the only truly great superman movies ever made.

  • @GenesisKnights, no problem, I just saw this as the worlds greatest embaressment that had to be shown and is only available as far as I know, on the "Christopher Reeves" collection that may one day be rare.

  • this is really f'd up. IV was bad enough, could you imagine this scene and the battle between Superman in the final cut. What i can't believe is that there are people out there who prefer IV over III.

  • This Bizarro has more dialogue than Nuclear Man. Nuclear Man growls and scowls, and repeats Hackman's dialogue. I love the lil synthy theme he has as well. I hate Superman 4 but I kinda like this.

  • @MrJonterrobang, he wasn't bizarro, though he was a bizarre creation and failer, with every even genius there is always a first mistake before a perfection, he was just a plain goofy stupid dim witted nuclear man, they didn't plan any connection to the charactor, it was just pure coincident.

  • sorry, evil not even.

  • Yes this is very werid!!!!

  • this father/son duo inspired the duo in "Austin Powers!"

  • Superman 4 would have better if it was base on the "Death of Clark Kent" saga from the Comic books.

  • wasn't bill murray asked to play luthor if hackman did not return for superman IV

  • They shouldve included this in the film, I mean cuz since the movie wuz bad anyways, this scene couldn't had made it worse, besides, this movie is better than superman part 3

  • this is awesome.

  • @bing78 , please tell us you are pulling our legs, awesome?, I swear to god, if they included this in the movie, I would of hung myself.

  • @markhorneyuk no way dude. this is classic. :-) classic cinema.

  • @bing78 , please tell us you just put that comment there for a laugh, tell us all that your just winding us up, please don't tell me you also like the rare deleted scene that I just uploaded.

  • think about it, while shooting this scene somebody actually though "Hey dudes this will make superman 2 look like shit." ..................................wow

  • good music.

  • Definitely should have stopped at III...

  • Also, as bad as it is, Hackman almost makes it work.

  • I love that Luthor hires his nephew as an intern.

  • Its almost like a take on Bizzaro.

  • Heard about these "deleted scenes" for years and thought "as bad as what was released was, how bad was the stuff that was left out of the movie." Gee, I guess this answers that one.

  • this really is the bottoms. And what is this I see? Respected British actor Clive Mantell as the doofus. I imagine he keeps quiet about this role.

  • hahahahhahaha the prototype looks like the retarded version of gozer

  • @ryananderson280195 I thought he reminded me of Young Frankenstein's monster.

  • Hackman "....For dignity, my reputations at stake". You can almost hear the true sarcasim as he says that line

  • god love ya Gene ...but oh man what a sack this movie was. Christopher Reeves wrote it....

  • ...sweet Jesus....I have only one...no that's not right but I'll settle for one question: How much money did Gene Hackman, Academy Award winning Gene Hackman get for doing this movie? Whatever it was, it wasn't enough! And Jon Cryer...good lord...I bet he's happy he's getting Emmy's on Two and a Half Men.

  • @CrusaderK, I think Gene was paid in the sum of between 2 to 3 million dollars, i know he got 2 million for doing the first superman movie..

  • wow that was total shit.

  • This is brutal.

  • WTFFFF!!!!

  • The Original 'Two and a half Men'!

  • i fucking hate the producer of this god-awful film, they should be ashamed of themselvs!

  • WOAH uncle LEX!

  • Out of all the Superman movies, I thought this was the worse one. I mean seriously how cheesy is a "Sun God" Villain? Now i see it could have been far worse. If Christopher Reeve actually wrote this scene then he deserved what happened to him.

  • All my childhood nightmares have been ruined!!

  • I didn't know Lex Luthar had a retarded son

  • @Sniffeh it's his cousin!!

  • @SimsMoyal

    I meant the "Sun God"

  • @Sniffeh oh ok :-))) thanks for clearing that out - yea it DOES look like a retarded son rather than a supervillian....

  • Wtf !?..My nuts stopped working halfway through this.

  • LOL!

  • @6661victor I felt like throwing up when I saw this. Maybe it was my nuts. No wait, I'm a girl.

  • This looks like a latinoamerican sci-fi movie! I know because i am mexican, this is hilarious!

  • Nuclear Man Two (the one in the finished film) in 100% "GWAARRRR!!!!!", I think the contrast between him and Nuclear Man One could actually have been effective, also the finished film wasn't exactly overly long (strictly seaking).

  • What a slice of shit!

  • weird music

  • ...was Gene Hackman blackmailed into appearing in this...??....

  • ... this is absolutely shit. What were they thinking?

  • @Halfstar3, at first, I thought they done this for a laugh, some movie directors do it some times, but when I found out that THEY ACTUALLY FILMED THIS TO BE PART OF THE MOVIE, well...... I have no words for it, except "stupidity".

  • @markhorneyuk

Key point being that they realised this and left tout

  • @Halfstar3 The movie itself was complete shit. I knew I'd hate seeing what they actually cut out. Yep. I was right.

  • If Warner had left in the Bizzaro scenes and deleted the whole "rid the world of nuclear weapons" crap, it would have been a better movie.

  • wow thanks for uploading i miss this.

  • hahaha. the leitmotif for "bizarro" is truly EPIC WIN

  • More entertaining than Superman II for sure. Impressive.

  • Have you ever notice how sometimes a scene will change weridly like its the same scene but certant things change in a nanosecond especially when nuclear man breaks the brick in half.

  • BATMANS BETTER!!!!!!!!

  • are you refering to the movie?

  • no i'm having a fight with my friend DarPower1 about which hero in genral is cooler

  • I actually liked the movie when I first saw it as a kid of 7 or 8 years. But back then anything with Superman was cool for me.

    About this specific scene:

I can´t help but think it would have been good to keep the first Nuclear Man in the movie. It sure as hell did not meet the original idea of giving the film a somewhat serious touch, but after seeing how miserably it failed due to various reasons, keeping this in would have at least made it funny and entertaining in a different way.

  • ffs

  • wow wow i mean u have to try to make a scene this bad

Even Ed Wood would say this is stupid

  • I love that comment, couldn't agree more.

  • That's weird that they kept the finger snapping bit in, they do that to sync the video with the sound. If they would of kept that bit in it should of I didn't think was possible.

  • I thought it was to do with the timer of the machine he was working on, I do that some times with my microwave when the timer comes to an end.... hmmmm, strange.

  • this movie makes my eyes bleed.

  • and i thought the movie couldn't have been any worse

  • Shit on a stick

  • wow ..... bad!

  • Is that John Cryer who's playing Lenny?

  • yes

  • Some of the temp sound effects (Lex's machine) are the Voigt-Kampf test from Blade Runner...

  • Gene Hackman has trouble saying the word "nuclear" just like Sarah Palin does.

  • lenny is so hot! Duckie<3

  • At least he wasnt born in spandex suit

  • Instead, he's born with a metal cup around his crotch?

Just when you thought it couldn't be any more worse.

  • The entire movie is weird.

  • this thing should have been bizzaro

  • Altra scena fortunatamente eliminata nel montaggio definitivo.

Tutto ciò che riguarda il primo uomo nucleare è troppo demenziale.

  • Thank goodness this never saw the light of the sun!

  • not funny at all - stupid and a waist of film

  • Cool and very comical ^_^

It made me laughed when Lex's nephew said " He called you father? what a moron!" funny funny.

I'm a Superman fan since I was a kid and this one adds to my knowledge about superman saga ^_^

  • What the FUCK is up with the goddamn music?!

  • This is like Doctor Evil and his son...

  • I...think I'm going to choose to believe this was supposed to be bizzaro, or a bizarro-type.

  • That's just what I always thought.

  • In the initial conception of Superman IV, Bizarro was to be what Nuclear Man became however due to copyright issues at the time Cannon Films opted to create a completely original character (albeit with certain homages to the original concept).

  • Thank god that is deleted. But finally though, after 10 years of wanting to see the first Nuclear Man, I've seen him! Infamous. Now I wish I hadn't.

  • Hell, they should have used this scene. The version released is fucking awful anyway.

  • OH MY GOD!

  • "My reputation's at stake"

ha ha ha ha, you've no idea, Hackman.

  • Good thing that they decided not to use this. This is awful. I know that Superman IV was not a very good movie but using this scene would have been worst. I wonder if this was intended to be a gag reel of some sort.

  • I don't understand what they were thinking after they made the first two. Were they like "We just made to great movies. Now let's throw that out the window."

  • the salkinds were thinking "money..... money, money, money." as the pure and idiotic producers they were.

After 3, they wanted to do something else, so they did Supergirl. After that, they just wanted to drop the hot potato and licensed the rights to Cannon, who wanted to look like big time movie makers rather than the B-film makers they were, and so they made 4... and killed Superman.

Then Singer came around and repeated almost everything Donner did in 1 and his version of 2. Compare them =)

  • lol thats explains everything

  • hehehe, yeah, pretty much =)

by the way, try to compare superman 1 and superman 2: the donner cut with superman returns... luthors motivation is the same, alot of the scenes are direct copies of the ones in the originals, and a shitload of lines are lifted from superman 1 and 2 also... and the plot is similar - luthor wanting land, superman being exposed to kryptonite, etc.

such a unnecessary and useless movie, in my opinion. only good things about it are, IMO, the title sequence & noel neill

  • in donners version of superman 2..superman destroys the fortress of solitude.. there shouldn't be a fortress in syngers version

  • Remember, in Superman 2: The Richard Donner Cut, Superman spins the earth backwards so the events of Donner's Superman 2 never took place, meaning that there still was a Fortress of Solitude.

  • You also forget that even though Donner did direct the second Superman, it was not his version that hit the cinemas. The version that hit the cinemas used about 70% of Donners work, and then reshot a number of other scenes and cut some more scenes. The theatrical version has Superman erase Lois memory at the end of the film, while Donners version she now knows Clark is Superman at the end of the film. Also, in the version in theatres, the fortress is never destroyed.

  • Yeah, in fact I never understood why he destroyed the fortress.

  • Correct, But donners Version was not released untill it was to late

  • I just cant believe what Iv just seen

    WTF

  • Yup, this is for real and yes, THEY WERE GOING TO PUT THIS IN THE MOVIE.

  • "Fathder".....lol, man, someone put him out of his misery...lol!

  • Complete embarrassment

  • How is that GH agreed to make this scene???... thank God they didn't use it!!. It was so stupid! =S!

  • bizarzo?

  • My god?!? Total disgrace to the original movie series, yet it's funny at the same time!!

  • This guy is all powerful, a complete idiot and controlled by a balding super villain... like George Bush.

  • so sad. Gene Hackman's saddest hour. Thanks, Golan/Globus for ruining the series.

  • when the nuclear man screams at 1:30, does lenny say, "Wtf was that?"

  • glad they cut it out. it's beyond campy.

  • How in the FUCK did Hackman and Reeve go along with this, I'll never know...

  • LOL......... funny you asked that and we all have been asking that question, there is still no answer, let us all know if you find anything out about it...LOL

  • not only is it weird, it's boring

  • i laughed out loud. its hillarious

  • They should have deleted this whole movie.

  • Damn. They could've done the Bizarro theme really well, but they HAD to fuck it up.

  • Bizarro?

  • why is the first one such a retard. what werre the guys thinking?

  • don't blame the actors mate, blame who ever came up with the idea, producer is proberbly to blame.

  • That scene was part of the comic book adaptation of this film.

  • Oh crap!

  • This is the first Nuclear Man, created by Luther in his lab, played by Clive Mantle. This first prototype is defeated by Superman but the remains are recovered by Luther and placed into the device that is attached to the missle that Superman throws into the sun, thus creating the second Nuclear Man.

  • At least pick another attractive man with equal sex appeal like mark pillow!! LOL!!! This batched effort!! LOL!!

  • what? you don't find skinny weird retard euro-dudes with spiky hair sexy?? what's wrong with you man!

    :D

  • Thank God this was deleted from the already bad sequel!

  • OMG!

I ddn't think the theatrical cut couldn't be any worse.

    This is 100 times worse!

  • the original script had 2 nuclear men... this must be number1

  • I'm thinking #2.

  • this would have been a better villian seeing how he is just like a popular superman villian

  • Don't know, but I don't think he suppose to be bizarro, JUST the first nucular man.

  • What the hell is that metal crotch thing "bizzaro" is wearing?!?!

  • this is scary ever

  • Fucking atrocious.

  • It's frightening to think that footage this awful actually was filmed.
