3 of those 4 wars were for a good cause.
The german/austrians started ww1, hitler started ww2 (and the japs brought us into the conflict after pearl harbor), Kim Il-Sung invaded South Korea, and the U.S wanted to stop Communist expansion in the region (plus the Soviets back him up, and we had problems with him.) BUT Vietnam is a FAR different matter. We had no business being there at all. If McCain had won, we'd be at war with 1/2 the world, and the draft would return.

The democrats had office during the mexican american war, WWI and WWII.
