The footage was most likely shot from a helicopter somewhere in Death Valley National Park (or someplace like that.)

The sky of the earth is blue because of the greater part of hydrogen, in which the light is broken... the mars has a great part of ironparticles in sky, which appears from red to pink... so the sky should appear in red till pink... thats the argument^^

I like how everybody here just jumps on the science and spouts everything they know about atmospheres etc etc. What is glaringly obvious, is the manoeveres that the craft is performing. The lander that touched down TODAY 2008, didn't have the free range of movement as the craft in this alledged video has. This conclusively ahould prove that the video is a mock-up. Oh, and the statements from the dozens who saw the programme on TV is the final nail.

You can search many places and find that it's just that. Nothing more than a bad show that never made it.

Anyone who thinks this is "real" is simply parading their foolishness.
1) The dialogue was recorded not with noise-canceling microphones (as is typical of aerospace communication) but with studio quality mics which were then filtered and EQ'ed to sound "Tinny"
2) Anyone with an ear for acting should recognize these men are reading from a script; their cadence is too labored to be genuine.
3) Two-way radio comm. to Mars takes 20 minutes (!!!)

The original video is NOT zooming BUT the camera is zooming to the monitor which is showing the video.
Anyway this is a fake. Please check the speed of the vehicle. Sometimes it is fast and sometimes slow. And it has a control over its speed. If you want to land on an orbit your main goal is to slow down your vehicle. So you will NOT speed up your vehicle (like in 0:45 - 0:55 in the video).

Don't beleive what you are told about Anglia TV producing this as an April fools joke. This is simply a guise, or a "condition" if you will, placed upon Anglia TV to be allowed to show the video, so that when a true public investigation occurs, they can point to the fact that even they claimed it was a fake. It is real, they know it and NASA knows it - much to their own frustration

This video is real. I have already confirmed thru private sources that the first probe touched down between 1960 and 1965. The first humans were on Mars in 1966, and since then we have established a base on the surface that carries out scientific research + services the rovers by cleaning dust off of the solar panels, etc.
